“DELIGHTED AND WILL STAY THERE AGAIN SOON”

We booked ahead of our trip and after a long day of driving, we were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were ready. The front desk person, Ashley, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were great--overlooking the pool area. The rooms were good sizes and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We had expected donuts and coffee, but were delighted to find a complete breakfast buffet. Food was yummy. Have already booked two more rooms for my next visit to Dothan, Alabama at this same location. Oh, and the prices were fantastic!

“Please tip waitresses in dining room...”

breakfast....waitress needs to be paid more..because advertise free breakfast....so many people (even family reunions) don't tip waittress, because it says it's free..need to put sign up or in brochure or on online ad to tip watresses...they only make $2.25 per hr..I felt so sorry for them and angry that we...because no one can live on that!!!

“Better since renovated, but still disappointing”

We stayed at this hotel several years ago when it was under different ownership and were extremely disappointed at that time. Not knowing what we were getting when we used Expedia, we did not realize that this Clarion was a remodel of the same hotel. While it was obvious that some upgrading had been done, rooms were still disappointing. Clean, but very dated including some mold and damp carpet. Cramped bathrooms. Bar/restaurant was also very much of a smoky, hard-core spot and not a place where a traveler would want to have a meal.

renovated front end (lobby, conference rooms and dining room) old holiday inn noisy, no functioning a/c and wrong bathroom...except for fancy showerhead
