“Great hotel; comfortable bed”

We were there for my son's allstar basketball tournament and the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. I was surprised at how comfortable the bed was. I would stay there again. Some people might complain about the "neighborhood" but those are usually uptight snobs who feel uncomfortable around anything even slightly urban. There were no problems and I was up until 2 am on Friday night. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

“Very good hotel at a reasonable price”

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The price was also very reasonable in comparison to the other hotels down the street. It was in a convenient location close to grocery stores, fast food resturants and shopping. Overall my experience at this hotel was an A+.

“Not the best”

We stayed 1 night and frankly, I don't plan to stay here again. The hotel room was nice. It had a flat screen TV and even a microwave. I had my laptop so the main thing I needed was a hotel with wireless internet. This hotel had wifi BUT it hardly worked at all. I needed to have video calls over my computer and it kept hanging up because the connection was terrible! I even called the front desk because I had a hard time connecting the internet but she said it should be fine and said just to open the web browser and it worked. The breakfast was standard. Luckily there was salt, pepper, and sweet n low, which we needed in order to flavor our food. We had stayed in another hotel the night before so we had something to compare this hotel to. Next time I will pay more for a hotel that's up to par.

“Ehh.....”

While the staff interaction was limited to checking in/out only the service was decent. The room seemed clean however is in desperate need of renovations. The towel rack in the bathroom was missing with the holes left in the wall. the toliet looked as if it was going to fall, the bathtub looked unclean. I was disappointed by the timing of the landscapers since I was awakened by them. For a quick over night stay with NO perks this place is cheap and okay. I would never select this place for my family to stay.

“The Worst Stay of my life!”

A night in hell. This is the worst hotel stay I have ever had and I use to travel a great deal for my job. The electricity went out late in the evening, there was a group party in the parking lot where people who were staying in a room upstairs had their friends over and they hung out in the parking lot. I tried calling the front desk for hours, never reached the night clerk. Finally at about 1am the group party in the parking lot broke up. The hotel is on the main thoroughfare in Douglas and on a Friday night there is a lot of Police activity. I will NEVER stay here again. The best thing I can say is that the hotel itself is very worn.
