Only Game in TownPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
All of the hotel prices are way too high. That forces me to stay at Super 8 for their more reasonable rate. The hotel is not up to the standards I am used to. Their Continental Breakfast is a joke so I don't participate. It make much better sense to buy a frozen breakfast at the store and microwave it in your room. The entire hotel needs refurbishing.

The only hotel left with roomsPosted Aug 26, 2013
Well, no bed bugs. The rooms were clean. The window was broken we did tell the hotel clerk about it. She didn't even know about it so it makes me wonder how well the rooms are cleaned . The hot and cold were backwards and when someone flushed in another room, while in the shower you got a scalding shower. Awesome. When we first met the hotel clerk she was a rainbow of sunshine . As for staying again ,I have no idea . This was the only hotel with any rooms left.

Super 8 Douglas WYPosted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: The blessing was Dana, the "everything" person. She did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Cons: The property is tired and old. The Internet connection was bad. It had to be reset at the office and still was poor..
Location: Can't really say--we were en route to an event so didn't spend time other than dinner in Douglas.
Of the nine hotels we stayed at on vacation, this one probably was a mistake. Expedia guided me to this one when their room blocks at the other four hotels in town were full. The room was clean but old. The towels were gray but clean. There was a little sign inviting me to polish my car and shoes with them which was different. Management was painting, updating the colors--this will help. Turquoise is a bit outdated. I wouldn't recommend an unaccompanied woman stay here. I am sure she'd be safe but even accompanied, I didn't. Lots of semis, trucks, and company work vans in the parking lot. The saving grace was the staff--of one. She was really nice, did everything to help us.

Disappointed.Posted Jul 8, 2013
Cons: General appearance
Location: surrounded by industry
Surrounded by industry, jaded looking exterior. Outdoor access via stairs that looked as though never been cleaned and smelt of urine. Room had bad odour as soon as opened door but hotel fully booked so pointless in asking to be moved. Plus point was that the bed was very comfortable and room was cheap.

Not bad for the pricePosted Jul 7, 2013
Quiet rooms, nice shower, flat beds and a flat screen tv. It wasn't fancy, but all the important comforts were there.
