A weekend out

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The coffee pot in the room and the breakfast.
Cons: nothing
Location: the malls were very near and the casino too. Lots of places to eat were also near.
We had a very nice stay. When we checked in, we were greeted with much enthusiasm by the woman behind the counter.. Our room was not ready at the time because we had arrived a little early..But she was very nice and gave us a time to return as house keeping was working on it. We did return and checked in...We were called about one have hour later to ask if we were please with the room,Awesome service.

This is a nice hotel near Dover Downs and Casino

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Location, location especially if going to race track or casino
Cons: listed above
Location: Several places to eat near by including in Dover Downs Casino.
We arrived and "Peachy" had cookies for the guest in the oven. We arrived early getting 3 rooms and they were ready so didn't have to wait unitl usual check in time which was nice. They did give us the two accesible rooms I requested. My room wasn't an accesible room which was fine but I just wish all hotels would put in only showers and the higher tiolets that way they wouldn't need as many handicapy accessible rooms that is what is needed more then the truly handicap accessible. They did have a nice pool and excersie equipment, laundry and breakfast for free which was nice. Over all we had a great stay. My one thing I would request a room on the back side of the hotel either I am a light sleeper or a lot of traffic.

not really restful.

Posted Mar 2, 2015
People are great. Rooms are clean. Location is convenient. The downfall is the lack of attention to details. The peeling and stained wall paper give the place run down feel. The room was stuffy as there was no way to circulate air without the heat running ( no fan only optional). It's a good location, with a great staff and clean accomodations but didn't provide a restful stay.

Overnight trip

Posted Feb 2, 2015
I was impressed with how comfortable our stay was - including staff (efficiency and kindness), cleanliness of the rooms, and no charge for using the business center (nice!). We used the fitness room which is small but met our needs. Breakfast was good. I liked checkout at noon rather than 11am. I was comtemplating where we would stay between 2 hotels in the area -- and decided to "take a chance" on the Comfort Inn because of the complimentary breakfast. We had such a nice stay, this will be our hotel of choice when we come to this area.

Comfortable Hotel with Perks

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The door key/card actually worked without a struggle! The breakfast was great!
Cons: The TV did not have all the channels listed on the guide.
Location: Right off of Route 13. Close to downtown Dover and Dover Downs (casino). Close to many restaurants.
I was impressed when I walked in the front door and saw a faux living room/study with big arm chairs, a fireplace, and books on the shelves- - A very nice welcoming touch. And, to the left, the breakfast dining room - plenty of space for about 2 dozen guests to sit down to eat. Breakfast included cereals, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, sausage, biscuits, waffles (make your own), juice, coffee, milk, fruit, etc. Our room was very comfortable and included cable TV, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, desk with chair, armchair, king sized bed with lots of pillows, digital alarm clock/radio on bedside table. There is an indoor pool and exercise room which I did not take advantage of on this visit.

Nice Hotel

Visited Charleston for the first time over Christmas break - beautiful area. Hotel was nice, but breakfast was chaos in the mornings - area was under construction and staff was not supported in providing enough space for guests.
