Nice out of the wayPosted May 27, 2015
Newer built hotel! Pretty much by its by itself as far as commercial buildings go. It is in front of a new housing complex but is quiet and a nice area. Area is being built up as it looks like another hotel is being constructed. Downtown Milford is 10 minutes away so really not that much out of the way. Route 1 is right there within eyesight but you can't hear the traffic. Breakfast was the best I seen!! Staff was "somewhat" attentive but a little testy when I mentioned about the pool. I said the pool looked dirty and they just agreed and didn't do anything. Why not say " I'll have someone look into that." Overall I would stay here again -glad I booked here but don't go underwater in the pool.

On a pilgrimage to Delaware BayPosted May 24, 2015
Pros: Close to National Wildlife Refuges (Bombay Hook, Prime Hook) and other good birdwatching areas, like Slaughter Beach & Broadkill Beach.
Great mini-vacation -- Bombay Hook to Prime Hook to Cape Henlopen & the ferry to Cape May before returning home.

Very Relaxing & AccommodatingPosted May 13, 2015
Pros: The bed!
The beds are fabulous! Like sleeping on a cloud. Check-in was a breeze. Ms Elisabeth the manager was very nice and professional. We were able to check in a little early so we could get dressed for the wedding we were attending and relax a little bit. Breakfast was very good. For the price you can't beat it. We will stay there again when we are in the area. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay on our way to Outer BanksPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Quiet and very clean.
The person who helped us the evening we checked in, which was April 24, was really great. He has an injured elbow. I didn't get his name but would like to tell you that he is an exceptional employee.

Valentine's Day hotel gone wrongPosted Feb 18, 2015
The room wasn't ready until two hours after check-in time. The heater in the room was too loud to sleep and blew out cold air until it warmed up for a few minutes. The front desk staff were insincere in their apologies for the tardiness of the room being clean and the heater being cold and loud.

Delaware getawayPosted Feb 12, 2015
Close to many breweries. Room was very clean and beautiful. Bed was not as comfortable as Hampton Inn bed in Downington. Wonderful complimentary breakfast.

Very NicePosted Jan 30, 2015
We were in town for a funeral and found the hotel online. It took a little effort to find the hotel in the dark but were handsomely rewarded by a friendly staff, a clean, comfortable room and a delightful breakfast.

Wonderful weekend. All was great. One suggestionPosted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: The hotel was very pleasant. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant.
Cons: See above
Location: We were visiting friends in Milton so did not avail ourselves to the local attractions.
We had adjoining rooms with our 16 year old daughter. (#s 315 and 317) Saturday night our daughter came into our room and let the door between our rooms close. We could not re-enter her room. We could not get in from the hall because she had put the security latch on. The young man at the front desk came up to try to help and then left to call Maintenance. We worked on the latch for about an hour using every "tool" we could think of from a flyswatter to credit cards and clothes hangers. We finally got the latch open with a phone charger and the cardboard "towel changing" card from the bathroom!! I cannot imagine what the outcome would have been if there was a small child in that room, or an adult with a medical emergency. Is there not a special tool that the security latch installers can supply to use in such an incidence? I now know how to get into a room accidently locked. Do your employees?

Nice place nearly impossible to find. Poor signage and strange Location. But once you arrive it is very nicely kept new and clean.

Nice hotel, decent pricePosted Jan 23, 2015
Location: Not the best location, but if you know the area, there's plenty of stuff around to do.
There was only one minor issue that had we mentioned to front desk probably could've been resolved...there was a musty smell coming from the bathroom sink. We just never got around to saying something & come the day before our checkout we just figured we'd deal with it one more night. Also, I don't think I've found a hotel bed yet that I would consider comfortable!
