Disappointing, do not leave anything in your roomPosted Mar 19, 2015
I called several times after checkout because I had left $100 electric toothbrush next to the sink. I could not even bother to return my calls. Dover has many better hotels.

Dover, de hiltonPosted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Very convenient to the Dover area and a nice place to stay
Cons: Add a bowl of fruit in the lobby
Location: Historic capital city, Dover downs casino, racetrack in season.
We stayed for two. Nights to attend a funeral and visit family. The heater made a loud thumping noise early in the morning. We mentioned this to the front desk and they had it fixed by the time we returned from breakfast. The maintenance man noticed we were entering the room and explained what was wrong. He apologized for the inconvenience. Very nice!

Serviceable HotelPosted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: Better pillows
I was only in the area for a night, but found the hotel to be just what I needed - the room was spacious and clean, the bed comfy (although the pillows were rather deflated), the location easy to get to. I used the exercised room which met my needs.

Better than the standard room at the Casino/HotelPosted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: The staff is always very friendly. The complimentary coffee, tea,hot chocolates and cookies are an added bonus. The rooms are very clean.
Location: It is walking distance from Dover mall and Del State. A few minutes drive to Walmart and Dover Downs Casino.
My husband and I frequent Dover 2 to 3 weekends a month and normally stay at Dover Downs up the street from the Hilton Garden Inn. We are both black card members and a normally comped a hotel room for the weekend, however, the rooms were sold out when we called on Thursday for a Friday thru Monday stay. So we decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn as we've stayed here several times before complements of Dover Downs. I honestly prefer staying here over the standard room at the Dover Downs as they offer amenities that Dover Downs don't and the rooms are much cleaner than the standard rooms at Dover Downs.

NYE StayPosted Jan 6, 2015
We stayed here NYE and it was very convenient to Dover Downs. A shuttle was provided to and from the casino which was very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. I have stayed at this hotel last year for a conference and enjoyed my stay then. I will stay here again if the need arises.
