“Convenient, Inexpensive and all you need”

My son and I were performing at a local theatre and even though we only live 50 miles away would be leaving theatre late and having to arrive the next morning very early, so we decided to stay in Dover, as we have done before. The room was just as expected for a small, inexpensive hotel. It is in a very convenient location, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly and had everything we needed. The only thing that wasn't quite up to par was the offerings for the continental breakfast. The pastries tasted like they had been around a little bit too long, but everything else was fine. Will stay there again next time I have the same circumstances.

At check-in the representative was extremely nice and very helpful. Room was nice and we had a ground floor. We would definetly return.

The hotel was nothing out of the ordinary, but a comfortable, clean place to stay with a good breakfast bar. Hotel service was good, people were friendly and it was a good value for the money.

Pleasant front desk, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Outdated TV, hotel room is in need of general remodeling. Perhaps a bit over - priced.

This hotel is not located in a great area and didn't look very appealing from the outside, but once we got into the room, it was clean and furnished nicely.

“This is a motel not a hotel”

Expected a hotel. Had to drag suitcase up a flight of stairs (have heart desease) Room next door had boarded-up windows. First thing noticed upon entry was a foul odor (like dogs) Had to purchase scented candles to survive. Walls dilthy. Bathroom disgusting. Heating/cooling unit noisy and cold air came through when not on. Since this was a motel, daylight was visable at the door. On an up note, location perfect --close to everything. Bed very comfortable. Expected bedbugs or other vermin: thank God there were none, I looked very carefully.

“Not the best”

Expected better room at the rate I paid. Carpet old/musty. Rooms open to outside and traffic noise made me wake up. Two of the lamps and the remote did not work, along with the clock radio.

“Black Mold in room”

The room that I was in had black mold on the walls that was covered up by wall paper. After looking thru whole room it was everywhere even outside. Housekeeping needs a bit more training in cleaning room and batroom and vanity area.
