"Beautiful boutique hotel with great ambience!"
This hotel is lovely -- very centrally located off of I-25 in the heart of Albuquerque and a minute from downtown! Very well-appointed guest rooms and common areas; gives the feel of being in a private residence with the small sitting areas on the first floor and the rooftop bar is stellar - great outdoor rooftop patio, also! Plenty of parking around the hotel and the grounds are beautifully designed with outdoor seating (weather permitting) and water features. Only disappointment is that the bathrooms are showers only - but, the rest of the hotel's amenities certainly make up for it! I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE wanting to spend the night in Albuquerque.

"Beautifully restored Victorian, walk to downtown."
Although we only live an hour away, we stayed a night here to go to a concert at the Kiva Auditorium in the convention center. They have a lovely ground floor room with a privacy fenced courtyard and private entrance for guests with dogs. We stayed in this room with our German Shepherd. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft and smelled great. They even had extra dog beds and bowls. Our hostess kindly accommodated our early departure by making us a continental breakfast that she left in our mini fridge. This beautifully restored Victorian home is conveniently located a short walk from all of the downtown restaurants, music venues and night clubs. If you plan to bring your dog, call and let them know, as they only allow dogs in the one room. We will stay here again for another concert or for an early flight out of Albuquerque.

"Very elegant, "old-style hotel"."
I was pleasantly surprised at the elegant atmosphere. At the same time this boutique hotel had charm throughout. Though small, the room had a very pleasant feeling, with all the right amenities (especially after I made a request for a coffee service in the room for the morning). The lobby was surrounded with intimate seating areas and there was even an especially warm, quiet and welcoming library right off the lobby. I love the idea of live music, but unfortunately the night I stayed there, the lobby music was amplified too much for my taste, though the music was probably excellent. It could be heard in the restaurant. Fortunately we happened to be sitting away from the door. Interestingly enough the library must be sound-proof so the decibel level was okay there. All in all, an excellent experience EXCEPT for one small item: I was surprised by the valet surcharge (of $16) and would have to adjust the overall price to include this charge in my determination of a place to stay in Albuquerque the next time. Not knowing about the surcharge was probably my fault. In fact there was a clear sign outside as well, and I'm sure that the website includes it in an obvious place.

"Different extended stay...."
Interesting service level: No breakfast, no maid service (except weekly), but large, extremely clean, well kept rooms with fridge, microwave, diswasher, etc. The price is great for the accomodations and the service level is perfect. Just what I have been looking for!

"Great hotel with some great happy hour"
We had a great time at embassy suites celebrating my significant other's birthday. Happy hour was amazing, and there was delicious beers, margaritas, and sangrias all for free. The breakfast was also delicious and also free. Definitely worth the extra cost. The staff was very courteous as well. The fitness room has new cardio equipment and some free weights. Also, the restaurant had one of the best to-go brownie sundaes ever!
