"Near the city and restaurants ... Beautiful view ."
Very good experience , good breakfast , bad wi fi signal , but it was a great experience ... In my opinion one of the top 5 hotels in town ... THe bar and restaurants have a nice food . The hotewl should have a 24hr room service .

If you are staying in downtown Bariloche, Hotel Edelwiess is an excellent choice with comfortable rooms, very satisfactory breakfast buffet, friendly staff includng Alejandro a terrific tour facilitator, and great restaurants nearby, etc. We chose a superior room above the main street initially as we wanted a view of the lake - this proved a mistake as there is an enormous amount of noise and activity on the street all night long until five in the morning - sleeping the first night was a literal nightmare. For the rest of our stay we opted for a room away from the main street - this proved quiet and more than comfortable.
If returning to Bariloche, we would rent a car and stay a couple of miles out of town along the gorgeous lake in any one of a dozen beautiful cabin, chalet, small hotels away from the center; we would probably make our own daily tour arrangements or use the car and a good guide book to do our own driving as many seem to do; using the car for driving into Bariloche for dinner and the wonderful chocolate shoppinghowever, i, etc.would be our choice. Hotel Edelweiss is a terrific option for staying in town.

The Hotel Panarmericano was very well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the lake. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were friendly and worked very hard to help us set-up excursions and provided great advise about re-arranging our travel itinerary when we could not get bus tickets to Valdivia, Chile. I highly recommend this hotel.

Is overprice, noise,to much stars... We paid a very spend price for 3 room. We get the hotel late at night and the room was so hot, no A/C or any cheap fan, the windows no open also Finally when we open the windows the noise was to much. Any hotel whit four star I wait a little more.

"Apartment style hotel with kitchen on busy street."
This is a limited service apartment style hotel. No breakfast included in our rate. The attraction for us was the kitchen. After a month traveling it was a nice change to cook our own meals.
The rooms are large.
However, our room was on a noisy street. We asked to move but they had no others available. At night a huge security spot light came on pointed directly at our front window.
Location is in walking distance from town center but up a steep hill. Lots of restaurants , shops nearby. If you really want to be in Bariloche( nothing special in Bariloche, we would stay outside of town next time on the lake) and you want a kitchen this might be an option but ask for a room off the road.

From the check-in, until departure this hotel was fantastic. Staff were very helpful, stored our bikes in a secure area for us over-night, helped us with a booking elsewhere. The restaurant was beautiful, tasty food, friendly waiter, the breakfast was fresh and abundant each morning. The internet signal was okay. The rooms were clean and spacious. The fruit trees and roses in the garden really topped it off for me. We had just spent 2 weeks in Cuba so this place seemed like 5 stars! It is 2.5 km walk into town on a dirt path beside a busy road- This did not bother us at all, we needed the exercise post all the Bariloche delights. A bus is available but we never bothered, a cab was cheap enough after dinner, when I wasn't fit to walk.
