Modern and comfortablePosted Mar 25, 2015
This is a great place. Close to Sea World, but about 20-25 minutes to Universal and 25 minutes to Disney. The rooms were great. Comfortable and modern decor. No kettle or toaster, but everything else was there and in working condition. Thepiol was great, but not sure why we had to pay for a resort fee since there wasn't anything different there than a regular hotel. Pool, fitness room, and games room. Staff were very friendly. We were there fir 6 nights (104 building D). On the 3rd morning we noticed a parked construction truck outside our main floor enclosed balcony, blocking our view of the pond completely. We had planned to eat there, but looking at a truck was not appealing. We called the front desk and they told us the were painting and would move it. The truck stayed parked there for the next three days...no one used it or moved it, despite the promises from the front desk that it would be moved. No effort was put in to rectify situation....very disappointed.

Nice resort, good location.Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Location, Amenities
Welcoming staff, nice clean room. We were on the 4th floor in building B facing the pool. This did get noisy in the evening as the pool closes at 11. If you want more peace & quiet ask to be on the far side or in another building. Pool is nice for families, restaurant is convenient but be prepared to wait a while for your order. Publix grocery store close by which was great. Would stay again.

Suite ComfortPosted Mar 24, 2015
Great pool, poolside bar, customer service, free shuttles to theme parks, and fully stocked suites. Our suite felt private and was comfortable. Best to book your shuttle in-person with concierge a day in advance. The friendliest ducks you'll meet! This is well known as a family resort, but was great for couples too!

Great location. Lots of space.Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Pools, room size, staff, location.
Cons: Add some other amenities to the resort.
Location: Location was great! Could walk to the outlets if needed to. Grocery store also within walking distance. Not far from sea world .
Our stay at Floridays was nice. We enjoyed the pool and the room we were in. I did miss some of the other amenities I have encountered with other resorts. Our kids would have enjoyed playing tennis or basketball. There was also very little organized at the main pool for families to do. We liked the fact that when our room was inundated with water from the unit above ours that the engineering dept. was on it quick. We requested to move to another room but the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to move. The resort did refund us a nights stay and waived the resort fees. That impressed me. Overall the stay was a very relaxing one.

Room very spacious. Great layout. Kitchen well stocked. Wi-fi mostly working. Pool excellent for all ages. Water beautifully warm. Sometimes ran out of clean towels however restocked as soon as front desk was informed. Restaurant service very prompt and extremely friendly. Concierge extremely helpful.

Hotel needs renovationPosted Mar 20, 2015
Hotel looks fine from the outside but once in the room you will discover lots of problems. Water was leaking from walls into the carpet in bedroom. In several units. Many other issues. Staff were friendly. The hotel is over rated.

Nice family hotelPosted Mar 19, 2015
We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite, very comfortable and roomy with a full kitchen. The main swimming pool has an area suitable for swimming lengths (but you have to be there before or after the main part of the day to do that) and a very nicely designed splash pad which is great for toddlers and young children. The resort is well located. There is a Public around the corner about a 3 min. drive away, and a Winn Dixie at Lake Street and Apopka about 5 min. away. Disney World and Disney Town are about 15 to 20 min. drive from the resort. On two of the days during our stay the room was not refreshed with new towels or soaps etc, not a huge issue, maybe they were busy. When we phoned the front desk, they were very responsive, and made a follow up call to see if our request to refresh the room had been addressed. They seem to be very on top of things, which shows since the property appears well maintained. The free wi fi is a great feature, but it seemed to click off every minute or so for about 5 or 10 seconds, which is not a problem for surfing the internet, but makes telephone over the internet and remote logging difficult. I hope they fix that. All in all, we had a great time there. Of course, it helped that the weather was great, and that there is lots to do in Orlando.
