Long weekend family fun

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Great friendly concierge service. Food-- Falls poolside grill and Italian Restaurant Pool Starbuck's in the lobby
Cons: Hike to the parking garage. Books/magazines for purchase at poolside or lobby if finished the ones you brought.
Location: Great location to see all parks in area if not staying on sight; closer to Disney than Universal. Had rental car.
IN area for long weekend after cold long New England winter. Time spent at the hotel was enjoyed by the pool. Comfortable lounge chairs, unlimited towels that were clean and plush. Pool side servers were very pleasant and helpful.Pool temperature was optimal. My kids used the water slides--reassured by very competent lifeguards. Pool was very clean and fresh. Pool toys available at poolside for rental.

Family-friendly Resort

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The pools are beautiful and I could imagine kids having lots of fun in the slides and Splash Zone. The room and facilities were well-maintained.
Cons: A mini-fridge in each room in place of a "refreshment center" with snacks and drinks that had a sensor. If you move items, your card gets charged!
Location: 10-15 mins drive to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets. Also close to Seaworld, Universal Studios, Disney, and Nickolodeon.
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was friendly, the facilities clean, and modern conveniences such as Starbucks right at the lobby were very much appreciated. They do have a good selection of dining options but, if you're on a budget, you may want to consider looking for places outside the vicinity, it's pretty close to other places anyway.

Nice but Pricey

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Good centra location to all the theme parks. Nice, large, and clean pool are with plenty sun loungers (at least in March)
Cons: No.
Location: Disney World, Universal Studios, Shops and restaurants (5 minutes from the hotel), Outlet Malls
We staid at the Hotel for my Sons Disney and Universal Studio trip. I picket the Hotel because it is close to all the parks, and has a nice pool area for kids including three water slides. Also when I compared the theme park hotels to this hotel, the total price for the Marriott hotel + theme park tickets was still 50% less as the advertised package price from the theme park hotels. The Hotel is large, resulting in a very busy lobby all day long, especially in the morning when everybody is coming or leaving. At the Hotel Starbucks you have to wait quite a time to get your morning coffee. Because the hotel is very large, you maybe get lost between the four towers and 19+ floors. If you are on a budget, plan to eat outside the Hotel, the hotel restaurants are nice especially the pool bar, but two burgers with fries and two drinks can cost $50 and more. The Hotel is clean and updated, the stuff was always friendly and helpful, they normally offer a free shuttle bus to Disney World, the bus normally goes every hour to Disney World, and depending on when the park closes the last bus goes back at 1:00 AM. Also this is a event Hotel, so companies have meetings with large groups all day long. This was not a problem for us, but their are maybe some people who look more for a vacation hotel without all the folks running around in business suit.

Love this place!

Posted Mar 16, 2015
We are from florida and wanted to go to universal and stay a night away. Booked our trip through expedia. We live only 30 mins away. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we had nothing but wonderful service. Greeted with a smile and all of the staff for such a large busy hotel were all so nice and helpful. We ended up with ALL the amenities pool, slides, bar, game room and my 10 years olds favorite part the GRID, and the light up the night laswr show,we Decided to skip the theme park and stay at the hotel the whole weekend :) awesome weekend getaway for the whole family.

Pros: Everything!
The bathroom was one of the cleanest hotel bathrooms that I've stayed in and I've been staying in hotels for the past 25 years.
