This is a historic (i.e. older) buiding in the Centro Historico right across the street from the malecon and waterfront. The location is great for exploring the surrounding areas, though it's loud at night until around MN when it becomes very quiet. The two greatest features of the stay were the heated rooftop pool, which felt like a glorious bathtub with a view, and the amazing buffet breakfast! There was so much variety of Mexican foods, including chilaquiles, several different stews, salsas, fresh fruit, pastries, as well as ham and eggs, pancakes, cereal, and bread for those preferring a more "American" breakfast. We would stay here again for those two features alone!

This is a cool older property coming back to its early glory as the historic district flourishes. The roof top pool and views are awesome.

Excelente lugar si quieres visitar el faro, el mercado y plaza machado. Cerca del muchacho alegre y muchos otros restaurantes. El desayuno buffet se voló la barda. El colchón si del año 1810 mas o menos pero a Mazatlan no se va a descansar jaja

The location is spectacular. The staff very helpful and friendly. Room was small but nice. Good was good. Breakfast on site was handy. Would have liked a mini fridge for soda etc. No washcloths and skimpy towels. The sewing pool is lovely butt small and 3 get deep. The pool view is a million dollar view! Overall very nice facility.

El recepcionista era algo arrogante, no era muy respetuoso al dirigirse, y nos hizo sentir en todo momento que nos hacia un favor, definitivamente razon suficiente para no volver. Los cuartos no tenian lugar suficiente donde conectar laptop o celulares, solo habia 2 contactos y ya estaban en uso, tuvimos que improvisar. La recamara era para 4 huespedes, y solo dejaron toallas y articulos de limpieza para 2, cuando quisimos comunicarnos con recepcion para que nos enviaran mal el telefono no servia, rentamos 2 habitaciones y la otra habitacion tampoco tenia telefono disponible, es un hotel viejo en el que no han renovado absolutamente nada, y te tratan como si merecieran el mundo entero. En el desayuno, no nos dejaron comer agusto, nos interrumpieron la comida pidiendo que firmaramos papeles para confirmar que estaba comiendo la cantidad correcta de gente comiendo, por que supuestamente esta incluido el desayuno. No entiendo por que tanta desconfianza, en todo momento mantuvimos el respeto y el buen trato, por que los empleados solo recibian ordenes. Esta frente a la playa, pero la mitad de las recamaras nisiquiera tienen vista a la misma, ademas no estan preparadas las recamaras para bloquear el sonido de afuera, por lo que todas las fiestas que habia se escuchaban adentro de la recamara hasta altas horas de la madrugada. No recomiendo el hotel, no vale la pena, hay mucho mejores opciones por el mismo precio incluso menos.

Great Centro location, staff very accommodating. Breakfast included, Mexican buffet style. All rooms have great views. Street / ocean front very noisy. Wifi sketchy at best. Beautiful rooftop pool on 12th floor, bar on 11th, elevator only goes to 9th. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay
This hotel is so quintessential Mazatlan old style Saltillo tiles. Excellent location in the old historic park. Perfect for walking nightlife or just hanging out. I stay here every time I go

Lovely staff and right across the street from the Malecon. Close to the shops and restaurants in Centro. Can always flag a Pulmonia if you want to go to the other side of town or enjoy the walk if you’re up for some exercise. Will always stay at this property for the reasons mentioned above.

Excelent except WiFi terrible to non existent. Made the business portion of my trip nearly impossible. Had to us a coffee shop down the street. This is a consistent at this hotel and in the future I will try to avoid it

Has lots of old world charm (built in 1944). Biggest complaint was a very erratic Internet. Stayed on the ocean view side. View was totally awesome. Especially after dark when the city lit up the Malicon. However, on weekend nights the road alongside the Malicon is used by teens and twentysomethings for cruising Mexican style -- piling in the back of pickup trucks and jeepneys and reeving their engines, blasting their sound system, and singing. This cacophony went on until around midnight, even keeping the balcony door closed the noise was so loud sleeping was difficult. Included buffet breakfast was extensive and yummy.

Wednesday 9 at 1:00am I forgot a Go pro 10 Camera on the lamp table right in front of the front desk. I talked the front desk attendant And he told that no body returned the camera , I asked to check the camera system, he’s giving me nothing but excuses I also asked to talk to the manager, the hung up on me , I tried to contact the manager but this receptionist hang up every I call. I stayed on room 304 ( you should have all the information to contact me I know they have my GoPro I hope the manager can contact me Sorry for this comment but your staff don’t want to help your customers Thank you Sorry you can’t trust your own personal
