Good choice for BrickellPosted Feb 10, 2015
Cons: I would make the beds queen size in double bed rooms.
Location: The sushi is excellent at Zuma which is only 15 minute walking distance from the hotel.
This is a great hotel but below the standards of other Mandarin Oriental hotels I stayed before. The rooms are very clean as you would expect but the size is a bit small. I stayed in a 2 double bed delux room on a high up floor. The view was very beautiful over looking the intercoastal. The beds were quite small closer to twin size. The bathroom felt big but partly because the bathroom counter was very narrow to save space. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel while feeling it wasn't up to the Mandarin Oriental standards at the same time.

Top notch hotel: worth the expense: Coffee/ continental breakfast should be free; not $75 for two guests; that practice is called "Nickel & Dimeing" the guests.....,

Brilliant staffPosted Dec 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Probably the best, most polite and courteous service we have ever received from a hotel. From the valet parking guys to the most wonderful, attentive service at breakfast, the staff at The Miami Mandarin Oriental are a credit to the organisation

Close to Brickell villagePosted Dec 16, 2014
We traveled with our 5 month old baby. The staff were very accommodating. They provided a crib, diaper Genie and a tub for our baby. The hotel is quiet and clean. We chose it for a quick relaxing getaway from New York weather in December. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area. We walked to Brickell village which is very cute.

Luxurious relaxationPosted Dec 9, 2014
Cons: Awareness of order to serve guests requiring transport/ taxis when the hotel is busy.
Location: On Brickell Key, adds an air of exclusivity. We walked to Mary Brickell Village each day , but we like walking! Allow about 15 mins leisurely stroll
Excellent staff, great location ( walk to Mary Brickell Village for dining and village style shopping) gardens and beach area are very relaxing. Beautiful classy lobby/ bar. Great live entrainment on Friday and Saturday night. Enjoyed all expects except maybe the prices for drinks, but it was to be expected. High standards come with high prices.
