My husband and I planned a nice weekend for my birthday and an early wedding anniversary get a way. This was our first time staying at the Potawatomi hotel. The room was nice but the bed sheets had black hairs all over and a stain! It was absolutely GROSS!!!!!! I went to the front desk and asked for new bed sheets! Also asked if I can get a little discount on one night and I was told NO because I booked thru Expedia! Why does it matter how the room was booked!
Then spoke to front desk manager and was ONLY offered $20 on my players card! Very disappointing!
Then the day we came home I checked my debit card account and had 3 pending chargers from the hotel! Called them and was told I used a Mastercard for some charges. I told them I don't have a Mastercard and I paid for the room thru Expedia! He put me on hold a few times then finally came back and gave me the excuse of being new with Expedia!
Don't know if we will stay there anything!

Very nice hotel located near many of milwaukees hot spots. Parking was an additional 25 which I was unaware about previously, but it was a covered garage which was a plus. Other negative was that there was no hotel room fridge so leftovers could not be saved.

great location --- crazy parking -- not very sound proof -- very noisy room next door --- but I love the area! -- felt like the hotel was on the decline -- sort of sad. It needs some TLC. But the location is the best!

Don't have any complaints. It's a very old building and very large. Furniture/design/decor is pretty outdated. Walls are very thin, could hear the people next door pretty clearly. Wasn't an issue at night though.

Downtown Milwaukee’s blue-collar breweries used to define this fictional home of “Laverne and Shirley” and “Happy Days”. Now, the town is just as famous for the Santiago Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum, an architectural gem, and the Summerfest, an annual lakefront music festival. The Brewers baseball team plays at Miller Park, with sausage races drawing devoted fans.
