Hotel was beautiful, glass elevators which our son loved! My husband and son walked to the Bradley Center for a basketball game, I stayed at the hotel, felt perfectly safe. Every employee was helpful and friendly. We will stay here again next time we are in Milwaukee!

My husband and I stayed two nights. Our room was terrific! Great view and very comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We have one, only one, complaint........when we left for breakfast, the cleaning staff was in the hall and it looked like our room would be done soon. But, when we returned from breakfast our room hadn't been cleaned yet. We left again, this time to go to the Milwaukee Public Museum, (we were gone for hours, returning at 3pm), our room still hadn't been cleaned or restocked. I was napping, my husband watching TV, when housekeeping started knocking at our door! Why so late? We told them to forget it, just leave us some towels. Because of this unfortunate situation, our garbage cans were overflowing. We always tip the housekeeping staff, but did not this time. We will be back and this time we will request that housekeeping visits early in the A.M.

We only spent one night because we just made a quick trip in to tour Marquette, but I could not get over the beauty and architectural detail of this hotel. They did a magnificent job of restoring the place. I only wish we had been able to eat dinner there, because the restaurant was also gorgeous. It was like stepping back in time. Loved the art deco style.

Downtown Milwaukee’s blue-collar breweries used to define this fictional home of “Laverne and Shirley” and “Happy Days”. Now, the town is just as famous for the Santiago Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum, an architectural gem, and the Summerfest, an annual lakefront music festival. The Brewers baseball team plays at Miller Park, with sausage races drawing devoted fans.
