Nice hotel on the boardwalk of the Fraser RiverPosted Jun 29, 2015
Cons: The decor could be updated...everything was a bit retro.
Location: New Westminster is quieter then downtown Vancouver. Transit is a 10 min walk from the hotel so you can get downtown quickly and cheaply.
We enjoyed our stay at The Inn at the Quay. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed local seafood at The Boathouse (the Inn's attached restaurant) and we enjoyed a spontaneous paddle boat river cruise. The boardwalk makes for a lovely walk along the river and it was fun to watch tugboats pulling timber downstream. New Westminster is a 30min drive from Vancouver Airport and about 45 min from downtown Vancouver. We enjoyed being out of the busy city and resting in quieter surroundings with full amenities (shopping mall) across the street.

Hotel next to riverPosted Jun 18, 2015
Some of the furniture were updated but not all, carpet in room and hall way were stained and worn. Air conditioner was noisy when running. On the other hand, lobby was nice and clean but that didn't help on my comfort. Parking was private garage with $10 surcharge per day. Nice location next to river for scenery but area turned dead after dark. If plan to stay at this inn, make sure to request a room with balcony or you will end up one without, that's what happened to me.

Very nice hotel. We found it quiet and comfortablePosted Jun 17, 2015
Great restaurant on site, great food good service. Staff were very helpful when I could not find how to turn off the AC, they came and did it for us. The lounge area was bright and cheerful. I also liked there small gym room, which I used everyday while we were there. Will go back if and when we need a hotel in the area.

Nice Hotel, cleanish rooms beautiful view.Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Comfy beds, clean bathroom, nice balcony, pretty view, lots of places to eat close by.
Cons: There were some cobwebs on the ceiling above the bed, that was a bit gross. There was once staff member who was fairly rude.
Location: Great location, right on the water, lots of places to walk and eat and shop. Loved it.
This hotel was modern, comfortable and for the most part the rooms were clean. The view from our room was gorgeous. We had three meals at the hotel's surrounding restaurants and all of them were great.

Great hotel.Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: The hotel is very clean.
Cons: The room temperature was hard to regulate but on a very warm day the air conditioning was most welcome.
Location: Little off the beaten track and a railroad track runs in front of the hotel but I wasn't bothered by it.
Excellent hotel for the price! Stayed three days early June and found staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and outstanding view of the Fraser River!

Great locationPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the Comfortable beds and the view from our room. It was also. Ice to have a small refrigerator and morning coffee
Cons: The room air conditioner was a little bit noisy.
Location: There is a lovely Boardwalk, restaurants and great scenery There are bike rentals right there and coffee shops just out on Colmbia Street
We enjoyed our room on the 7th floor looking out at the water and watching the boats, etc. also there was a liveliness to the area as people are out enjoying the boardwalk and the nearby restaurants, market, etc.
