"Wedding Plus Hotel!"
We attended a family wedding reception at the Hotel Deluxe. There was a mistake with our reservations. The staff was so gracious to remedy the problem. We danced until our feet almost feel off and then waltzed off to bed! Thank you so much!

"Great boutique hotel"
The Modera is sleek yet very comfortable. It is close to the streetcar and to MAX so everything is close or easily reachable. We will stay there again for sure.

"Excellent Experience"
Firstly, the hotel is in an eclectic area of downtown Portland. It has a lot of old buildings and is walking distance to parks where we enjoyed a Saturday morning stroll and found the year round Portland Farmer's market. Even though the hotel is located about 10 blocks from the water front, the walk is very enjoyable as there are a lot of shops to sightsee on the way down. It is also adjacent to Jake's which has great steaks and seafood. Our first night we arrived late and oops I forgot to call and inform them of our late arrival. I had booked a superior queen and we didn't get it. The room was very clean and comfortable, but it didn't have the view I had paid for. My husband talked to the front desk and we were informed the hotel was sold out for the night, but we would be upgraded the following morning. They were true to their word, we were upgraded at not additional charge to a superior king room with a great view of downtown and the mountains beyond. The staff at the hotel are exceptional. Everything was first class. Would highly recommend it to anyone and am looking forward to staying there again in August.
