Central SB convienient but a little loud.

Pros: Staff and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: Better parking and thicker windows.
Location: It is half a block from State Street and a large number of restaurants. Great for walking.
Friendly staff and clean room but on the weekends you can hear all the action from State Street.

Great hotel with walking distance to everything

Pros: Close proximity to the wharf, restaurants, bars and shopping.
Cons: Pool and spa, but there is obviously no room for that at this location.
Location: Holdrens Steakhouse is fantastic, but a little pricey. All the bars were fun and there was great music everywhere.
The staff was very friendly, allowing us to check in almost 4 hours early. We were offered complimentary water, as many as we wanted. Typically you have to pay $5 for a bottle of water in-room. The breakfast was also a nice bonus. The only minus we found was that our windows would not stay open to allow fresh air in.

Nice enough, but avoid certain rooms.

Pros: Downtown location, can walk to State Street and waterfront. A good breakfast selection provided.
Cons: First floor rooms with inoperable windows are a problem resulting in stale smelling air, poor ventilation.
Location: Downtown shopping and restaurants close, walkable. Beach walkable.
Be selective of the room you get if you like fresh air. It's a nice, clean, well decorated hotel in a historical building, but my recent stay in a ground floor room fronting on the street had inoperable windows, which I do not like at all (room 111). The air in the room smelled stale with a lingering cigarette odor even though it was a "non-smoking" room. I needed to keep the window curtains closed for privacy from walkers on the sidewalk, so that results in a dark, viewless room. On previous stays I had upstairs rooms with operable windows which were just fine and I can recommend those. There is an extra parking fee to use their lot.

Convenient, quiet, central Hotel

It was OK. The air conditioning was very aggressive. That resulted in our room being stuffy or really cold. Staff was super. Very helpful. Breakfast was Ho-hum. Parking, at $14 per night was a rip off.

Nice location with all the essentials

Pros: Rooms and bathrooms are of a good size, and the location is excellent: leave your car and the parking lot and the rest you cover walking
Cons: Two simple things: add safe boxes to the rooms and more trash cans, including recycling ones, for the common areas (there recycle bins in the rooms)
Location: walking to local shops and restaurants is very easy. We loved going whale-watching with a company called CONDOR. They did a great job, not to miss
We stayed there (family of 5) for two nights. We rented 2 rooms and they were clean, roomy and comfortable. The hotel location is perferct and the breakfast is a great convinience.

Great location. Smelly rooms and hallways

Pros: location
Cons: smell of hetel.
Location: close to state street and not far from beach
The hotel is in a great central location and was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. Decent breakfast in the lobby. My only real complaint is that the rooms and hallways to the room smelled like a urinal cake. I would stay there again, but would hope they change the carpet or something so the hotel smells fresher. Also no one came by our room to clean between our three day stay and we were hardly in the room but could have used more towels.

Location of our room was not comfortable for us,the room was also not comfortable,breakfast was everyday the same,food possible to be better. Found a few ants in the tub(bathroom).
