"Great location"
Love the hotel. Have been there many times. Unfortunately the hotel in under construction and the hall floors were covered with cardboard and many spots were torn up, there were workmen all around which took away from the serenity of our stay. We will return again when construction is complete.

"Short stay"
We arrived early evening after an Amtrack trip from San Francisco, and left early the following morning. We had a superior two-bed room which was very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was no porters at the hotel entrance which we like - we don't mind carrying our luggage the few stept to the elevator instead of being hassled for a tip. Very nice experience.

"Great location for a weekend in Seattle"
My husband and I visited a Seattle over the long weekend to take in some sights, eat, drink and watch some live entertainment. Hotel Monaco was a fabulous choice for us because it is a great location for walking around town and they host a wine hour everyday! There was even live music on the Saturday. I would recommend staying at this hotel, we will stay there again; especially with the great deal we got online.

"Fantastic! Would recommend to anyone!"
We spent nine nights at Hotel Five in April 2014. The hotel is lovely, very modern with funky design. Inside the room was free bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, iron, ironing board, safe, hair-dryer, flat-screen TV and an iPod dock/alarm clock. This was everything we needed! The hotel staff were always polite and helpful, assisting us with the free bike hire and putting out free coffee and cupcakes in the lounge every afternoon. There is also a complimentary shuttle service which we used to take us to various sights in Seattle. How could I fault this service?! The rooms were always clean and we never had a problem with noise. In fact, the toiletries in the bathroom smelled so nice, I didn't end up using any of the ones I brought with me! We used the car parking facilities which were reasonably priced in comparison with the other car parks we saw and felt very secure. Altogether, I would definitely stay at Hotel Five if I go to Seattle again and would recommend it to anyone!

Pocket Guide: Downtown Seattle, Seattle Boutique Hotels

Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don't miss the futuristic main library. Seattle's twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.
