"Fantastic little gem"
We were recommended this hotel by friends who live in Toronto and we were delighted with it. The staff were amazing, especially Kevin, and they all went above and beyond our expectations. The room was spacious and luxurious, breakfast was excellent as were the gym and pool. It is sophisticated luxury in the heart of Toronto.

"Best Hotel Experience Ever!"
This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. I was in town for the Caribana Festival, as well as the OVO Music festival. It was my first time to Toronto so I was looking for the time of my life. I was able to have that with the help of the hotel staff (specifically Simon). They were all helpful though in telling me what activities were happening, where to go, and made sure I knew exactly how to get to the places I was going. It was an amazing experience! The breakfast was great, especially the fresh squeezed juices! Also, the rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. This hotel offers everything to make you very comfortable and at home. It actually became difficult to leave the room and see Toronto because it was that comfortable. Thank you to the staff for making my trip to Toronto one that I would never forget!

"Luxury in the Heart of the City"
We had a great stay at Shangri-La!! We loved everything about it! The lobby was beautiful! The rooms were beautiful. The restaurant food and service was exceptional. It was a very happing place in the evenings. The only down fall was trying to find the entrance. The address take you to the front but the real entrance is in the back of hotel. It well worth the extra effort.

"Wonderful stay"
When I arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel, I was greeted by friendly staff who checked me in right away and provided with my room key. When I entered my hotel room I was very happy to see a spacious, clean and very welcoming bed. The breakfast provided was very pleasing and the location of the hotel is very convenient as it is within walking distance to lots of Toronto attractions and subway station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"“Great Hotel, Great Location!”"
Visited August 29-30, 2014. We picked this hotel because it was very close to Roger Centre, which is why we were visiting Toronto. Less then a 5 minute walk to stadium & CN Tower. Our deluxe room was on the 4th floor of the hotel. The room was beautiful with so many awesome features like, a 42inch flat screen TV, king size bed, blu-ray player, cable, Ipod dock, automatic "do not disturb" button, which is located next to the bed, button for drapes to automatically open & close, huge closet area, robes, a safe, fully stocked mini bar and a luxury bathroom. The bathroom was my favorite part! Large soaking tub, glass doors in stand up shower, large vanity with a makeup mirror & heated floors!!! It's a very quite hotel and barely heard any noises come from other rooms or hallways. My only complaints would be that the bed was a tad firm for me, the gym was a little smaller then I excepted and the parking costing $35 a day. I know that's an average price for parking in a city hotel, I just think all parking should be included when staying at least 2 nights in all hotels. However, I would return to this SoHo Met location or any other location! FYI, Walburgers restaurant that is attached to the hotel, which was supposed to be opening Summer 2014 is still not open. I was looking forward to dining here. I don't think this has anything to do with the hotel, just thought I mention it.

"Great hotel when looking for suites"
Great price for this one bedroom suite. Asked about upgrading to a 2 bedroom and they gave an amazing rate - so we upgraded. Hotel staff were friendly - valet parking was really expensive. Rooms were very comfortable and anything you need was provided. Would recommend and I will stay there again.
