Awesome view!

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Swimming pool needs cleaning on the rusts ceilings.
Location: The hotel is close to delicious restaurants.
We had a fantastic stay! We had an awesome view. The location is central location to every place to visit....Grandville island, Stanley Park, Aquarium, Capilano Bridge, Grouse mountain and Science world . The restaurants are walking distance and the cupcake bakery is closeby.

Best Place for the Best Price in the Best Location

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. We walked/bussed/Sky Trained everywhere we went. There are countless things to do in the immediate area.
Cons: Wow! I really cannot think of anything...save the fact that I found the bed very firm. Let's just put that down to being on the wrong side of 45 :)
Location: In no particular order: Telus Science Centre, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Stanley Park, Aquarium, Pacific Centre, Vancouver Art Gallery...
My nine year old son and I just returned from our visit to Vancouver. We were very pleased with the hotel. The pool was clean, warm, and had plenty of towels! The pool bathroom was well appointed with a steam room, toiletries, showers, sinks, mirrors and extra towels. Our room was on the 18th floor with a great view down Burrard and of the Wall Centre. The room was clean, well appointed, and house keeping was diligent about replacing coffee etc... The Concierge and Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will most likely always stay here on vacation from now on. I don't think the quality/price point can be beat!

Great view of the city

We were not given the room as was advertised and paid for. We booked a king studio suite and got 2 double beds instead.

Nice hotel, right downtown

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accomodating!!
Cons: The rooms could probably be upgraded a bit. There was almost a smoky odor when I went in the room, but I left the window to help it air out a bit.
Location: The Comedy Mix downstairs is HILARIOUS!! Only $10, and such a funny show, I went twice! I also used their spa and had a great treatment.
I had a great week staying at the Century Plaza. It's in a great location, right downtown, close to bus stops and Robson Street for shopping!

Great Location, Great Spa. Rooms are outdated.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Stayed here because they were having a deal for the weekend. Great location in Vancouver and the spa in the lobby is excellent (from what I have been told). The lobby was very promising as it was freshly renovated and I was hoping that this meant the rooms had been as well. The rooms however were outdates, although clean which I argue is more important. Not worth paying full price though for, similar hotels in the area offer better bang for buck (including the Sutton just down the street for the price point).

Great location, mediocre stay

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Location of the hotel is excellent. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was loud early hours in the morning and the bed was really uncomfortable. Would recommend if location is of the most importance to you. Not the best hotel I've stayed in but also not the worst.

Close to all West End attractions.

Pros: Location, staff.
Cons: Parking
Location: Shopping, Art Gallery, Stanley Park, Bacchus Restaurant, Gastown, Yaletown
Very polite & helpful staff. Suite was large & well appointed. Walked to Robson Street area stores, Coal Harbour Seawall, Stanley Park, Art Gallery. Parking lot is tight squeeze for a pick up truck.

Great location

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Location and parking
Cons: Management of the suites
Location: terrific for sightseeing and night life
Hotel was in super location with useful parking however the rooms were not great. The bathroom door on one would not close and the sound of the freezer within the fridge was exceptionally noisy. As we were there only one night not worth complaining but if staying longer then we most certainly would have asked to be moved.

Pros: Friendly staff and great room
Location: Bin 941 is a fantastic restaurant just around the corner on Davie.
Very friendly and helpful check in. We were upgraded and had a lovely room on the 29th floor with spectacular views. Comfortable beds, lots of space, very accommodating cleaning staff. Well equipped kitchen. I will stay here again.
