Nice Hotel close to many points of interest.

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Location, service, and rates.
Cons: Complementary Wine
Location: This hotel is within walking distance to City's Art Museum, close to Beach, Stanley Park, near bus routes.
They started providing good service as soon as I arrived in a Taxi, once the driver remove my luggage from the trunk, a Hotel employee was there to help me carry my luggage inside, then I was given keys to my room, I had a choice to eat at their restaurant. or go to the nearby Pizza place, there was a Starbucks, and a Natural Food store within the same block. The Hotel staff were very nice provided me with all the information I need as I was new to this city, provided me with an umbrella on rainy days, call Taxis as I needed one, and on check out day they allowed me to have a late check out. All in all, I had a good time in Vancouver, and Moda Hotel was a big contributing factor.

I was very disappointed in our first room. There were some sort of bed bugs on the bed, me and my roommate both felt it. Overall I was not pleased with the rooms.

Great location!

Went to a concert at the Commodore Ballroom and spent the night at Moda. It was super close to the venue (just off Granville), staff was nice and the room was clean.

Amazing time, Great Location.

I live in Coquitlam, about 45 minutes outside of Downtown Vancouver. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Moda and had a wonderful time for our weekend getaway. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We were able to check in early, and got upgraded from our deluxe room into a suite! The suite was beautiful and my girlfriend could not have been happier. Will definitely be staying here again.

Downtown

Clean and unique. It doesn't have the glamour of a boutique hotel but it does really well in offering affordable avante garde styling. It will appear to hipsters and travellers alike. Not for tourists. Had a great corner room. Highly desirable. As close to downtown as it gets without the grunge.

Great value, cool and modern decor. Staff are pleasant, awesome location. Some maintenance things might help like a fresh coat of paint but overall I had a wonderful stay.

Convenient, clean and friendly!

My sister and I stayed at Moda recently when we came up to BC for a Canucks game. The hotel is centrally located for shopping, sporting activities and sightseeing. The rooms are cozy, but plenty of room for two people. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was VERY helpful and informative. They made suggestions and took great care of us. They were efficient at check-in and courteous. While we booked our room through Expedia, the rates were very reasonable. Excellent value!! It might not be the fanciest place in Vancouver, but it definitely met our needs. Plus it had a bit of old world charm. The double windows were great at blocking out all of the busy street noise. Grocery store nearby made it easy to get snacks and cold drinks. Coffee shops close by on Robson. Excellent modest accommodations.

Great location!

Pros: I liked the location, lack of noise, decor and cleanliness of room.
Cons: The elevator!
Location: It is 5 minutes from the Skytrain station, 5 minutes from the art gallery, 1 minute from the Orpheum Theatre, great restaurants and bars everywhere.
We enjoyed staying in Moda Hotel. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do, and especially enjoyed breakfast at the little coffe/wine bar. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room very simple and clean. We also appreciated the lack of street noise which is unusual right downtown. The only thing that really needs attention is the elevator which has to be the slowest in all creation. Fortunately we are in good shape so we always used the stairs. Other than that it was a great stay and we would return for sure.

部屋がおしゃれで広さも十分だった。ホテルの近くは車通りが多いため夜中に何度か起きる事があった。また、シャワーが弱く残念であった。しかし、ホテルスタッフがとても親切だったのが◎!
