I was upgraded to the Signature Club floor and the suite was very nice. The location was fantastic on Seymour and Hastings, as my meetings were at Simon Fraser University connected to the hotel. Close to the train and only two or three blocks from the waterfront and convention centre. The homemade pretzel with accompanying dips was a nice touch as was the bottled water and chocolate left at turn down. All in all a very comfortable stay.

The location was great. Almost everything I needed was within walking distance. The hotel went above and beyond with anything that I needed. The concierge had great recommendations for everything I asked about with regards to the city.

"Great boutique hotel, location, some amenties n/a"
This was a great hotel in a great location in Yaletown. Rooms were clean and very nice. The only con was the availability of some of the amenities, for example the bikes are first-come, first-serve and it seemed like they were all in the shop for repair, so that was scarce. Also the car service, not sure how that went since there's only one car, however the available smartphones was a plus to have since we were traveling international.

I was checked into the top floor for being a +gold VIP member. Only problem was that the AC did not work. The valet said the AC had been off in the room and that it would cool down soon. It was already late at night, so I went to sleep. I woke up at 2:00 am and it was 80 degrees in the room. I called the front desk, and was given another room, where the AC worked properly. All in all, everyone was very polite and helpful, but it didn't detract from the fact that I lost sleep and had a long work day ahead of me. Breakfast was included, and done very nicely. Simple buffet, but plenty of good food to eat in a nice atmosphere. The room itself was nice, although parts of the room were fairly worn. The shower rod was about to fall off the wall, having been screwed into the tile many times. I must say though that the staff, at every location, was very kind and helpful. The hotel does not have much of a workout room. It has a lounge area outside on the top floor, but the sun is only there early in the day. At this time of the year, hotel rooms are very expensive in Vancouver, so for the cost, it was a very good value, and I felt comfortable and safe. It was a short walk to many of the places I enjoy visiting in Yaletown.
