“Close to the train station and clean”
This was quite a pleasant surprise since the price was low and I had not been to this hotel before. The hotel seemed well run, was extremely clean and in an ideal location. The train station is about 5-8 minutes away by foot . The breakfast buffet was excellent and included both hot and cold items. The equipment in the room seemed quite new. The only drawback were that the ceiling is lower than typical American size hotel room and the bathroom is a bit cramped. But overall it was a nice stay during my weeks in Europe.
“A hotel where everything worked!”
The three Ibis hotels, built when Dresden was East Germany, were renovated and quite comfortable "business" hotels. Internet did not work well in the hotel room, but one of the two computers in the lobby was always available. For those who like to walk and compare the endless shopping malls with the marvelous old buildings nearer the Elbe - opera, churches, museums - was a good hike which we took daily. And, bakeries everywhere, open for early breakfast, as well as some of the best gelato in Europe made walking into some neighborhoods (where some of the war damaged buildings were rebuilt) ideal. Walking back to the hotel after the opera was safe...no problems since the streets and malls were well lit.
“Great hotel in the middle of town!”
Staff was super friendly, great location and great price. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were a little on the firm side but thats a minor quibble. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
