Many of Stockholm’s most interesting sights are near to Drottningholm, so it is a convenient place to base yourself. Two destinations that should be at the top of every visitor’s itinerary is the wonderful Drottningholm Palace and the iconic Bromma Golf Club. Also worth checking out are Bromma Blocks and the SKHLM Shopping Center.
There are many natural gifts here as well, so don’t miss the nearby green spaces. There are some nice urban parks, so why don’t you go out and enjoy the Karlberg Castle Park in Solna and Ralambshov Park. Enjoy the waterfront at Lake Trekanten.
A number of Stockholm’s attractions are within driving distance of the Drottningholm area, such as Norr Malarstrand, Sankt Eriksplan and Vasaparken. To get a little closer to Stockholm’s heart and soul, pay a visit to the area’s most sacred sites, such as Varfru Church in Hagersten.
Spend a few hours at the Kungens Kurva Shopping Center in Kungens Kurva, the Solna Centrum Mall in Solna and the Vastermalmsgallerian Shopping Mall to scratch that shopping itch.
To really get to know this fascinating part of the world, consider making a reservation at one of the area’s hotel or serviced apartment options. The Courtyard by Marriott Stockholm Kungsholmen, the Connect Hotel City and the Hotell Dialog, Kungens Kurva are just some of the many great places to stay around here.
