“Great Hotel Experience”

The Clarion in DuBois was a wonderful experience. From the friendly staff, to the clean welcoming room...it was a pleasure. The cold weather didn't damper our exercise regiment...the Clarion has a workout room which we utilized daily. The free wi-fi was convenient as well as their computer room. The hotel is minutes away from all the local eateries...our favorite was The Dutch Pantry which is a stones throw from the hotel. All and all, our visit was two thumbs up and we can't wait to book again :-) Thanks!

“Great experience with this hotel.”

Great experience. Room was nice and clean, and comfortable. Very happy with my stay.

“Clarion Hotel in DuBois”

The restaurant was great the first night however the bartender and her female friend were very loud and swore quite a bit. They also felt it was funny to smash bottles every 5-10 minutes. I will stay there but not utilize the restaurant if those two are there. The two waitresses within the restaurant were AWESOME young ladies and were very helpful.

“Pet Friendly and Clean!”

This hotel was great because they allowed pets. Also enjoyed the bar, which you do not have at Holiday Inn. The hotel was very close to the interstate and more importantly just a few step walk from Dutch Pantry which has a great breakfast.

“Comfy bed”

From the outside and the lobby the hotel looked okay. We were quite impressed with the room though. It was recently redone. The bed was quite comfy. The feather pillows were a nice surprise.

“Clarion”

As a result of my stay at this hotel and others: In general, I think it is time for the hotel industry to eliminate "smoking" rooms. Hallway air is nearly always contaminated with smoke, and often times, the air in "non-smoking" rooms also becomes contaminated. Current knowledge of the seriously damaging effect of second hand smoke on a person's health is enough evidence to end the practice of allowing public hotel rooms for smokers.

“Disappointing”

This Clarion Hotel is an old Holiday Inn. There has been some redecorating, but it is basically the same tired old motel. Compared to the Best Western, where I've stayed in the past, it is overpriced. Also, the Best Western offers a free hot and cold breakfast. The Clarion charged for their buffet and it wasn't that good.

“Hotel Disgusto”

This place was a mess. More than a bit run down and it smelled weird. When we got to our room there were dead bugs on the floor, spider webs and stains on the walls and ceiling. Upon further inspection there were cigarette butts behind some of the furniture (in our non-smoking room). Considering we had our children with us, we launched a major complaint with the front desk and they changed our room. The "new" room was not much better but at least there wasn't dead bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. They should really hire a new housekeeping staff.

“Not bad, but eat elsewhere.”

Convenient location to I80. For a one night stay it was not bad, but the food offered in the hotel restaurant was rather weak.
