“Very Satisfied for the price!!”

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean when we arrived, and the staff has excellent Customer Service skills!! The breakfast was good too!! We appreciated that they worked with us on our Late Check out, and actually wished we would have stayed there for the 3rd night - since we ended up in a dump hotel in Philipsburg! We will definitely return to the Comfort Inn in Clearfield!

I have to admit that my review is colored by the fact that computers were down when we checked in. And, the power went out for 3 hours in the early morning hours (3am to 6am).

“Nice place”

I have stayed at several hotels in this area. this one was above average compared to several of the others. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was not overly friendly but I guess everyone can have a bad day.

“Decent but pool was closed”

The room itself was nice and clean. A few cardio machines were available, which I used to get a good workout. I was able to check in a few hours before the posted checkin time, which was convenient. Their continental breakfast was tasty. The one big disappointment though was that the pool was closed during the two days I was there. The Holiday Inn Express in Clearfield is a little nicer and has a hottub by the swimming pool but I chose the Comfort Inn this time because the price on the Holiday Inn Express went up so much compared to last year. Comfort Inn is definitely better than the Super 8 across the street. I guess it depends on how much you're willing to pay.
