Close to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa

Pros: Location, ambience.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Walking distance to Dubai Mall.
Amazing experience. Got a complimentary upgrade to a club room with an amazing view, fruit bowl and a delicious cake. All on the house! Will definitely return here!

You are almost in Dubai Mall

If you are staying at the apartments you be disappointed by the receptions size and the long walks inside the building to go from one side to the other. The parking level is tiny, parking SUVs and Luxury cars will be a challenge for your nerves.

Your comments are noted. Indeed, the lobby in our Apartment Building is not large, however, our guests may utilize the City Café which is located in the lobby as a waiting area. Our corridors are long due to the large size of our apartments and due to the building structure as our hotel is not a high rise building. The car parks are as per government guidelines. Never again..

Despite requesting a non-smoking room when booking 7-months prior, we arrived late after a long flight to be told they only had a smoking room. The main issue is however the noise. Tied on the first night we presumed the loud music was a rogue house guest and let it go. We discovered on our second night that we were located on the second floor just above a night-club. We are not talking about a bass beat in the background, but loud music BOOMING through our room from midnight till past 3am. Management know this is happening yet still choose to place guests in these rooms – it is a disgrace and certainly nowhere near 5-star. The hotel was not able to rectify either of these issues during our 3-night stay. This is the first time we have selected a Rotana Hotel – NEVER AGAIN. Poorest experience from a 5-star hotel in 30 years of travelling.

Very nice staff

Pros: Buffet and service. Front desk, bell boy , waitress and manager.
Cons: Has free wifi for every room
Location: Location is very good, just across Dubai mall for 5 mins.
I enjoy this hotel so much. Buffet was very good, I ate two buffet for two night ,different kind food and delicious.

I have no bad words to say! Overall we all left very happy. Instead thought I would say more about the area and what's included. Apartment is great, very large and well equipped. Bear in mind it's over 10 years old so there will be wear and tear. There is a waitrose in the mall 5 mins walk away and a supermarket round the corner. 2 x 2 litre bottle of water provided free of charge each day. One hour free internet per day but you can log in many times a day which is good for Dubai. Best use hotel pool as it has a bar which also serves food. You can walk to the Dubai mall in 5 mins and taxis always available for further journeys. Flag city taxis not the Lexus as they are much cheaper. City taxis cost circa 50-70 Drs to Palm, JBR and the Walk.

Al Murooj Rotana hotel. "Service with a Smile"

Cons: Everything covered!
Location: Great location in Dubai. Little cafes and supermarket 2 mins walk from hotel entrance.
After some research as to location etc. I booked a room for self and wife. What a good choice as we were greeted by smiling doormen and room luggage "bell boy". Receptionist "Olga" was charming as was the customer service desk nearby. Willing assistance in locating a personal document mislaid at Dubai Airport was efficiently provided by front desk and customer service ...Ahlan, Surneet Saxena, Samy Younes and "Hari". I was so grateful to them all! The hotel is superb with quality throughout. Foyer is like an Arabian palace with magnificent lighting and floral arrangements. Our room was spacious and well furnished with large TV and luxurious furnishings. The beds soft and comfortable. Bathroom was de-luxe with bath and shower. Comp. L'Occitane hair and body toiletries.Service desk was unbelievably helpful in every way. The huge Dubai Mall was just across the highway with the famous "Souk" gold market and over 1200 other shops. Access to the world's tallest building from the mall. We walked to the Mall.. Congratulations to hotel management and human resources. "Service with a Smile" always. WONDERFUL!

Perfect price point and location!

Location: Dubai Mall, Burj Kalifa, lots of restaurants, movie theater
I can't say enough about this place...it was in the perfect location, beautiful (yet private feeling) and the staff was consistently wonderful! I'd definitely come back for the overall value (price, location, and services).
