“Great Location - Near Metro”

First we are not new to Dubai. My wife had worked for three years under contract in Dubai so we knew the area. We chose the Hotel being very close to the Metro and very close to the Dubai Mall. We booked a Delux room and the accomadations were excellent. The lifts were not a problem for our tree day stay. Knowing the area well meant that we did not need any assistance from the Hotel Staff. However, the one time I mentioned a need it was taken care of immediately. Our delux room had a kitchen area, a lounge chair and a king size bed. Our next trip I would rebook with this very hotel. We saved by booking on Expedia. Friends who have lived in Dubai for over twenty years could not believe our price!

Location is a big plus for this Hotel, 15min walk to Dubai Mall,metro station 2min walk On main road but with 50 floors no street sound. If taking a taxi dont ask for the Iberoted hotel use Emirates Grand Hotel We stayed to use the pool but it was not in use the two days we stayed

This Hotel need more elevators coz the waiting time in front of the elevetors is toooooooo much !

“Great rooms but clunky service”

Better to look for other options within the same price range. The staff was rather off-putting and not very helpful - if they were able to speak English. The room was actually a very pleasant surprise...Oddly enough for a hotel, the elevators were not able to handle the volume of guests...You would have to wait for countless minutes to be able to get on one.

“Not so Grande”

The hotel was nice, the room was great! We had problems with service in the main restaurant and with the housekeeping staff. Every morning it was like pulling teeth to get them to bring enough creamer for our coffee, which they never did so each morning did not start off well. The best part of the stay was the room and the view from the room. The shisha lounge on the top floor was really great the the service there was excellent. We come to Dubai often, but we will not be staying at this hotel again.

“Good for family stay”

They provided 2 500ML water bottle one time only Although standard to follow should be 2 bottles every day, plus the they have a huge fridge stuffed but there is not price mentioned on each item or neither there is a list to follow good for family stay, exellent location you can walk for 2 minutes to get starbucks and few resturant, if you want to save money buy all stuff from local grocery store which is 5 mins walk and is located behind the building name Al Attar towers (they are not visible but you need to dig to get cheap grocery including sandwiches, water, juices , biscuits etc)

“OK but will look elsewhere next time”

The hotel and the room looked really good, but there was something strange with the electrical controls in the room. There appeared to be no way to turn off the lights in the hallway. So to be able to sleep I turned off a fuse in the electrical switchbox (which did the job, but I don't suppose this is the way it's supposed to work). The 500 AED deposit to be paid at check-in (possible by credit card) is a bit strange. On checking out they actually go up to check your room, which takes some 10 minutes, so don't be in a hurry when checking out. One good point is that the Financial Center metro stop is on the same street, some 5 minutes walk away. On the other hand, going to the airport you can as well take a taxi which is cheap and there are many driving by (even at 6AM). The first metro train passes by around 6:15AM.
