Make sure you are given a decent room

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: It would be best if they did not rent the rooms above their nightclubs but I doubt they'll give up that income.
I was given a room with no windows or sunlight on the first floor. There was a lot of music coming from one of the night clubs in the hotel until 3AM (and this was a week night). Also the hotel parking was closed at 10PM and there was no one to open it, fortunately it is easy to find parking on the street. I was there for only one night, not a good experience.

Great Stop Over Hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2014
I stayed here for one night on a stop over flight. The hotel is clean warm/cool and has a shallow roof top pool. Fantastic staff for breakfast and check in was easy. The decor is a touch worn but that really is being picky. I am not sure I would pay the full rate during normal season but for the time of year I went was ideally priced as it was Ramadan.

Good hotel at very competitive rate

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Good room and cooperative stuff
Cons: Wifi is restricted and slow. Only one laptop allowed
Location: Close to shopping mall and airport
Located close to airport and 10 minutes walking to Metro(subway train) Good and dedicated stuff. Book through expedia online otherwise you pay Hefty amount

Quick stay before a trip

Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: That it was inexpensive.
Cons: The guy on the phone for room-service, it took a while to order eggs. Needs someone with better communication skills.
Location: It was close to everything, but it served its purpose.
Its was a basic stay, but food variety could have been better as well as the sports being played at the bar. Not a big fan of Cricket. Also, the construction next door did not help while trying to sleep, or the loud music which I assume nobody attended could have been turned down/off.

stay if Budget > everything else

Posted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
the hotel is between 2 metro stations, and is at one end of Dubai. The rooms were clean and tidy. The music playing at the dance bars on the 1st floor is loud and jarring, and seeps into the rooms. That is a big inconvenience. Otherwise, it is an average place to stay on a budget. Families PLS AVOID.

OK for one night saty

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: price, gym, small pool, not a hassling staff. fare service.
Cons: sound proof, window with a view, even if the make something fake, it is OK. a roof cafe, more lights in bathroom
Location: Hukka cafe across the street, grocery store, dry cleaning service, a tailor, few popular restaurants and subway station
I stayed in a room facing a dark wall. with a black tiles bathroom, I felt I was in a grave. the hotel disco was above me playing noisy music until 4 am. when I asked to be moved from room 122 request was rejected due to a full house. breakfast was OK but not impressive. the room has a comfortable bed with a slow internet connection. hotel is 500 meters from subway station. neighborhood looks like a poor section of the city. a shy coffeehouse across the street with a skinny menu. But I must be fare to say that it is a fare value for the price I paid. Thanks to Expedia to find a last hotel reservation at a good price. go for this hotel as I one night transient guest, but no more than that.

Close to airport

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Stayed twice, in Feb & Mar 2014. Rooms large. Reception staff helpful. Pre-arranged transfers to/from airport cheap at 50 EAD, but on both occasions, driver meeting at airport was late and hard to identify. On first visit, noise from nightclub boomed into room until 2 or 3am. Second visit, I asked for a room higher up and that was OK. Personally, I would rather move my own luggage rather than have bell-boys insisting on doing it so that I feel obliged to tip. Restaurant has Indian food, OK for a simple meal to avoid going into city, but TV sports on as in bar.

Convenient

Posted Mar 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel overall was a nice hotel. It's convenient but depends on what u are trying to do. The hotel is inbtwn two train stops, so very easy to travel on train and going to main places. About 7 mins away from the airport in a cab. It's up to date and clean but in a local area. Has a few night clubs inside the hotel so if u want quiet after 9 may bother u a little but if doesn't you are fine. A cafe and two restaurants inside. You can catch cabs. Pretty easy to travel but if u want to be closer goers the beach and planning to be in a cab all the time I would suggest a closer hotel towards zayed road.
