Beware the entrance... when wet...Posted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Reception very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is really clean and spacious, peacocks roaming very nice to see.
Cons: Speed the lifts up... slowest I've ever used- warn customers the marble steps are like black ice when wet.
Location: Not much nearby - for now, the hotel has everything - this will change when expo2020 arrives so for peace- go there sooner not later.
Room, facilities, staff excellent. I went for the airshow and it was the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in- hey- the red arrows were also in the hotel so that should be recommendation enough... The peacocks walking around the pool is a nice thing to see and although I didn't get chance to have a swim, the facilities were immaculate and well cared for. Only 4 out of 5 for staff I'm sorry to say because due to heavy rain (yes in Dubai) I slipped on the entrance and landed on my back- the staff then put a 'wet floor' sign up... overall though, the hotel is total value for money!

Lovely hotel with excellent facilitiesPosted Nov 10, 2013
Hotel was lovely and catered for all needs with many wide and various activities. The Hotel provided a courtesy coach which was excellent as the Hotel is 20 mins/half an hour away from the start of other attractions. Metro facility from Ibn Battatu Mall was brilliant. The food was excellent with very wide choice and top quality. Beach area was very relaxing and not too busy and swimming in the sea was wonderful. We would definitely go back there again.

Lovely hotel with great staffPosted Oct 27, 2013
Rooms are small especially when a camp bed was required for my five year old son however other than that there is nothing to fault. The entire resort is exceptionally clean and well kept and the staff in all areas are amazing although Sinto at the pool bar and Dave on the beach do deserve a special mention. Cool Zone kids club is exceptionally well run with a great range of varied activities.

An enjoyable week with a great beach and gardensPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: Out of Dubai, great pools and extensive gardens. Complex is very clean and beach is really good and is not too crowded. Staff seem happy at their work
Cons: Rooms are small, facade needs some updating but that is in hand. Improve drink service around beach areas, perhaps some more people serving
Location: We like the hotel as it is outwith Dubai. Hotel Shuttle / Taxi to city is no problem. Hotel grounds are great for young families
We had a great week. Have been to this hotel on numerous ocassions. Had a few issues but I can honestly say that they were dealt with in a professional manner and the Customer was put first - does not often always happen! Hotel staff are great and are very attentive. Pools, Beach and Gardens are lovely and if you want some peace outwith Dubai well you will have it. Some personal service received from Lito (Sports Bar), Luca (La Traviata) and Poojray (Beach) and the F&B Manager. These guys excelled in Customer Service - well done! A relaxing week and look forward to the planned external rennovations. Who knows may be back at some point.

Great resort on the beach three swimming pools.Posted Oct 20, 2013
We were disappointed on arrival to find it was a religious holiday and so we could not have wine or beer with our dinner even though we had booked an all inclusive package. It would have been nice to have been informed about the restrictions before we arrived. It did not spoil our holiday the food was very good in all the restaurants and the service was excellent.

Excellent resort. A shame is so far from AustraliaPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Relax atmosphere, private beach, good size swimming pools, excellent food and entretaiments, very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Internet connection in the room was not very good.
Location: Between 45 minutes and hour away from the Airport depending on traffic. 30 minutes from Dubai City Center. Nothing to do near by, everything within.
At arrival we thought the resort was a bit far from everywhere but we quickly found out that we did not need to go anywhere else to enjoy ourselves. The resort provides everything even a free shuttle bus if you want to go for a day/night in town, you can check on the shuttle bus's time table to organize your day out in town. If you want to relax JEBEL ALI BEACH RESORT is the ONE for you, not if you like a hotel close to shopping center/s or attraction/s. We will without hesitation stay at the resort again, the only inconvinient for us living in Australia is: it is far (13 hours fly) and a bit expensive just to go there for holidays. In our case we stopped over for 5 days on our way home to Australia, after our trip to Europe and Dubai was one of the two places of your 2 months trip that we enjoyed the most. Relaxation was our mind focus in stopping at Dubai and certainly we received it.

Beach AttemptPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: The room was very nice.
Cons: Offer options-coordinate tours or avail of tours directly to the hotel. If you book in advance, know that you'll forfeit the total after 1st night.
Location: All activities are at least 1/2 hour away. You have to rely on the hotel bus; or the cab-fare will be significant
Very isolated; in the middle of nowhere and nothing. Although the hotel offers busing to JBR, you have to coordinate - nothing spontaneous!

Nice hotel, great location, fantastic facilitiesPosted Sep 28, 2013
Cons: Speed of service in restaurants, staff could have done with a better understanding of customers needs.
Location: Everything available on site, no need to leave the complex.
Had a 3 day family break in Sep 13, would love to go back again. This hotel had everything we could have hoped for, would recommend All inclusive otherwise it can work out expensive.

Nice resort but isolatedPosted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Resort feel with less restriction than some of the more centrally located hotels in Dubai. Elemis products in bathroom are rather nice
Location: The hotel is very isolated and a long way out of Dubai but the hotel offers a shuttle service.
we arrived in the small hours of the morning but were checked in by a friendly and helpful young man and then escorted to our room. breakfast buffet was plentiful. As we only stayed 2 nights we didn't really experience all this rather nice resort hotel has to offer.
