Excellent hotel even despite Arabian development

Posted Apr 13, 2014
A big thank you to the front desk staff, the duty manager on the 11th/12th April, Ismail, Chy, you made our stay a delight. The restaurant staff need to be a little more attentive, very distracted somehow!

4 - Star not 5!!

Pros: The beach!
Great resort linked with another hotel. Some good restaurants but everything on the resort is on the tad bit expensive side as you would expect. The pool is shallow but the beach is nearby. Good views of the the Burj Arab. Hotel staff always greet and are very friendly. Good resorts for children as Will Wadi Water Park is adjacent. A lot of building work going on but a lot of the time you cannot even notice or hear!

Beware of rooms at east end while construction on!

Posted Nov 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great resort-type complex with many nice restaurants and beautiful beach. They're adding another Madinat at the east end (beside Mina A Salam) so if you're offered a "higher" floor but it's adjacent to the construction site, don't be fooled unless you like to hear heavy equipment at 7 am. You may get a perfect view of the Burj hotel from your balcony but it may not be worth it.

Excellent hotel - if you get a good deal

Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Beach, rooms, decoration
Location: next to Sukh Madinat
stayed in various hotels prior to Mina a Salam including Hilton, JBR, Sheraton, Address, Bonnington but this hotel offered by far the best value for money. Price for the room in general is high but if you do get a good deal, the beach/room/general experience is definitely worth it

Great location. Brilliant club room with fine staff and service. Excellent restaurants in a cluster of hotels and a Souk. On the beach. We always stay at this hotel or next door. Top notch every time.

Excellent hotel with top club facilities. Slight noise problem due to renovation but otherwise very good stay in a highly recommended hotel.

My favorite hotel in dubai

Posted Sep 1, 2013
I have stayed in more than 6 hotels in Dubai including: Atlantis, The Address Dubai Mall, Hilton Jumeirah Beach, Grand Hyatt, One and Only Royal Mirage, The Fairmont Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers. All hotels were superb however Madinat Jumeirah is my favorite and here's why: 1- Central location; it's between the palm and downtown dubai. Everything is 15-20 mins away. There is no metro but the hotel runs free shuttle service to Mall of the Emirates and several other attractions.2- The most beautiful beach strip in dubai; white sandy beach that faces burj alarab and the palm. The water is so clear and turquoise and they run regular beach and water activities on a regular bases.3- Great Restaurants and Abra experience; this is the essence of the hotel in that it is like an Arabian Venice you will be transported by Abra(boat) from one area to another. The experience is very romantic but as well fun if you have kids. The restaurants there are top quality in Dubai. The Brunch on Friday is the best in town.4- Wild Wadi water park;which I believe is a friendlier water park than aquaventure in Atlantis. Entrance is free for hotel residents which is a huge plus, and it makes this hotel very child friendly if you are traveling with kids. After staying here once I decided not to stay anywhere else in dubai. The hotel is perfect for families, couples, single or business travels. It has everything that a five star dubai offers except that its better.
