Beautiful hotel in a great locationPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Arabian style and beautiful resort facilities (swimming pools, etc)
Location: Great spot on Jumeirah beach, close to The Palm Jumeirah and Mall of The Emirates
Amazing facilities and brilliant service in all parts of the resort - pools, restaurants, in-room, everywhere! Close to The Palm and Mall of The Emirates and everything else is an inexpensive taxi drive away.

Great location.Posted Aug 28, 2014
We had a fabulous honeymoon stay at the Arabian court. The room was decorated with beautiful flowers and roses and the stuff and managment was fantastic. Highly reconvened! It's very Privat and quiet place.

One&Only Royal Mirage The PalacePosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Service levels.
Cons: More consistent wifi coverage throughout the hotel and grounds
Location: Good location near the Marina. Well placed if doing meetings in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
One&Only always provide a good level of service, and the hotel feels particularly isolated and tranquil compared to almost any other hotel in Dubai. I stayed in August and am a regular visitor on business to Dubai. Note that (as one of the duty managers freely admitted) the hotel attracts a very different guest profile in the summer months due to very cheap pricing (needed as in July and August it is far too hot for anyone sensibly to sunbathe all day). As a result, the area around the pool feels completely different from winter - very noisy, lots of children etc Definitely not the normal One&Only experience - not a necessarily a bad thing as it is all down to what you want from a hotel, but just worth noting that it feels like a completely different hotel from how it feels in high season, so adjust expectations accordingly.

Fabulous hotel for relaxationPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Everything from pool to restaurants
Cons: Nothing that we could see
Location: Taxi service is easy in Dubai so location not a problem. Advantage is private beach
We booked One & Only at a great rate for July. The attentiveness of staff and service was outstanding.

Unsatisfactory ExperiencePosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: The only positive for this hotel was the service staff, they were friendly and helpful although the mgt staff could have been more accommodating.
Cons: The room cleanliness, quality of restaurant food, the Spa facility staff as they were rude. Providing better value for money.
Location: Location was very bad, it was away from most of Dubai's primary attractions.
When we arrived, our room had the following issues: 1) Dust on all furniture 2) Stick residue on the table 3) Stains on the couch and bed linen 4) Room had a mouldy smell 5) Stains on the bath tub 6) Water marks on bathroom vanity (not cleaned properly) 7) Tiled floor areas were sticky 8) Carpets were stained and not professionally cleaned 9) Room was located at the complete end of the hotel and away from facilities. We complained about the room and were provided with a new room that was closer to the hotel facilities, however the room was not cleaner. The hotel sent out staff to re clean the room however, we had to repeatedly remind them of areas that were not cleaned. I honestly felt that the hotel did no live up to our One and Only experience at the Cape Town, South Africa hotel. I booked for 9 days at the hotel and disappointed. The hotel restaurants quality of food was not worth the price being charged. Overall I am very disappointed and I am hesitant to book at any other One and Only resort.

Superb service and hotelPosted Jun 30, 2014
Stayed here with my wife while on holiday. It has to be said it's one of the best experiences that I have had while staying at a resort. I have stayed in a quite Afew hotels and resorts and this is truely unique.

Fabulous boutique hotel, great locationPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: The Bed, service, swimming pool, restaurants/bars, buggy service when too hot and air-conditioned bus transfer to other sections of the hotel.
Location: Near the marina - sailing and other water activities, sunset cocktails on the rooftop/Marriott. We didn't do much due to heat in mid June.
The One & Only Royal Mirage was recommended by our son over the many other Dubai hotels. We needed somewhere to chill and relax after 3 weeks of travelling with a group of 12 in Turkey and we are so happy we chose this boutique hotel. The bed was the best we've slept in anywhere, levels of comfort in the room exceptional and service excellent. The location is great, close to the marina with plenty happening on the water off their private beach, and there are many great restaurants and bars to choose from between the Palace and Arabian Court. Even in the heat of mid-June, our 4 days beside the wonderful pool were blissfully relaxing and cool. We would recommend this hotel to anybody and hope to return one day.
