Superb HotelPosted Sep 11, 2014
You are welcomed from the time you arrive at the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Situated next to the WAFI mall and a fantastic souk where there is also a great restaurant serving middle eastern food from Egypt , Morocco, Lebanon etc. Very well appointed room and very comfortable bed

Impeccable and Understated LuxuryPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Club Room Facilities, Proximity of Marks and Spencer.
Location: Nothing worth seeing nearby with the exception of WAFI mall. All of Dubai is a £5 taxi ride away!
Located just a 10 minute drive from the airport; Raffles really is the Rolls-Royce of hotel stays. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a five star master-class in customer service. On arrival we were speedily checked in at the main desk. We had booked the Club service, which came with a dedicated check in area. This proved unnecessary, and we were shown to our room in quick time, and several hours earlier than the check-in time stated. This really started our break nicely, as we were prepared for a long wait. We were given a tour of the exceptionally appointed room, which helped us settle in straight away. Within an hour our butler popped by to introduce himself, and although we didn’t require his services for the most part, it was reassuring to know he was there. The room itself was large, with a flat screen TV, very comfortable bed, desk, and separate room for dressing. Lights were controlled by a special control pad beside the bed, which was a useful touch. All the fixtures and fittings were in very good condition, the balcony was large with comfortable seating. The bathroom was clean and large, with a nice large tub, twin sinks, and separate Rain Shower with plenty of power. Toiletries were generously replaced, and were very pleasant, but my other half would have liked some bath salts or bubbles, which weren’t available. The Club Room was a very pleasant place to be. Delicious snacks and canapés are available, as well as cocktails for a couple of hours each ev

LOVE this hotel...plan on staying here again!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Overall hotel. Very clean. Smells nice. Good breakfast.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Attached to a mall (Wafi Mall). Near Downtown Dubai, and Dubai Mall.
We stayed at this hotel a couple times and we enjoyed each time. Will love to stay here again and definitely recommend others to enjoy this hotel as well. We love the rooms, VERY spacious, larger than normal hotel rooms. Pool is huge, if you want to enjoy it. The gym and spa are very nice and well maintained. The Japanese restaurant option on the top floor is a great plus and has great food (especially sushi). Very luxurious hotel as soon as you enter you'll notice it. Also, the smell in the lobby is always so beautiful. Attached to a mall, so that was a plus when we needed something from the pharmacy. VERY close to the airport. A bit farther (15 minutes) from Dubai Mall and Downtown, but for the amenities and experience at this hotel, it will be worth staying here. Had their breakfast during both visits, and they have pretty good options.

RAFFLES HOTEL - DUBAIPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly and courteous service by all. Especially the Reception desk and Main Entrance staff.
Cons: Sometimes trainee room butlers forgot to return coffee cups and replenish coffee, milk and suger. Rectified very quickly when reported.
Location: Perfect location. Near many amenities.Wafi Mall next door. Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifi (worlds largest mall and tallest building) just 15 minutes awa
Arrived at the Raffles on the first evening of Ramadan. The welcome was exceptional and the advice and information provided was extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay we celebrated a wedding anniversary and a birthday, both of which were made all the more wonderful by the hotel team. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and anyone else looking for a hotel with class in Dubai. And all this at a reasonable price. Thank you Raffles. And Expedia of course.

Great hotel but bad servicePosted Jun 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
I asked only for smoking room because I'm heavy smoker and for king size bed , then they called me one day before to tell me that my request will be ready 100% upon arrival . On check in time they told me that they have non smoking room only or i can take twin bed with smoking ,and that i can smoke at balcony and it's really hard regarding to hot weather in Dubai , also when i went to take shower i found that i have to wait for 5 min to get hot water .

World ClassPosted Jun 5, 2014
Cons: Sound seems to travel and if the door were a little thicker it would be preferred not to hear the occasional passerby or the room occupants next door.
This was my second stay at Raffles Dubai and again the facilities & service are world class. Promptly greeted, early check-in without issue, it seemed whenever you turn there was someone their to assist. Rooms was spacious and comfortable with a vast bathroom.

Excellent hotel, outstanding staffPosted May 24, 2014
Pros: Facilities, service, buffet breakfast, club facilities
Cons: Not much
Location: The location is possibly the one thing I would question. Although adjacent to Wafi mall, the mall is expensive and, quite frankly, dead.
We spent a week at the Raffles in late April, and I rate the hotel as one of the best I have ever stayed at. Much of the credit goes to the staff of whom, without exception, I cannot speak highly enough. We had a club room which includes the benefits of afternoon tea, evening drinks etc, both of which were much better than I have encountered in other hotels. Being offered water, friut, cool towels etc when sitting by the pool was another feature that was very much appreciated. (And I must single out Sanjip [from Nepal] by the pool who was so engaging and helpful - an extremely fine young man who I hope goes places within the Raffles organisation)
