Pros: Good bed
Location: Convenient to metro
The hotel was clean and comfortable with quality linen and towels. We appeared to have been up graded to an enormous appartment which was well equipped but much bigger than we needed. We had difficuties with the airconditioning and had to turn it off it was so cold. One request for it to be adjusted met with some action but not a successful outcome. The staff however, were pleasant and eager to please. Breakfast was good and provided a wide range of choices. It was in a convenient location in terms of its proximity to the metro but located in behind other buildings and we needed their business card with a map to give to cab drivers to enable them to find it.

Dubai weekendPosted Jun 12, 2012
Location: Nice location. Convenience store across the street where you can get cheap stuff.
Good place to stay in Dubai if your plans are to be out most of the day. Staff was friendly and helped in all cases. From arranging taxis on busy Friday evenings to using the Business Center. Overall a great place to stay considering the cost. Apartments are well furnished and clean. Taxi drivers get confused since there are three hotels with the same name so they usually take you for a ride before reaching your final destination.

Great vauePosted May 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Both the front desk clerk and the front service person were very helpful. Check in was flawless with voucher and we were in the room before check-in time. Hotel is close to metro station a few blocks away. However make sure you have the taxi driver read the name of the hotel and location carefully as they all think they know where the hotel is located but ended up running around from one hotel to another all with the similar name Ascot.

Cons: The staff is not friendly. The Internet is not free anywhere in the hotel. They gave our 7th floor room to someone else while check in. During checkout the bell boy took half of our luggage downstairs and then went to help somebody else keeping us waiting for remaining luggage for abt 20 mins. Pros: Free breakfast Good hotel condition Close to metro, Meena bazar, Bhurj Khalifa and Gold souk
