Modestly priced high end hotel in Downtown DubaiPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Walking distance to a lot of entertainment, view of Burj Khalifa, restaurants, decent priced hotel
Cons: more sound proofing in the walls??
Location: on the ring around the Burj Khalifa - walking distance to the mall and uncountable restaurants
Was in Dubai for a trade show so I wanted to stay in downtown in walking distance to the Burj Khalifa and Emirates Mall. Lots of restaurants and hotels in walking distance. The world trade center was maybe a 10 minute cab ride with traffic. Hotel is visibly very nice though not as quiet as one would hope - wasnt really a big problem though. Two high end restaurants in Hotel - the french one is one of the hottest restaurants in the city right now to go to - both are quite expensive though.

Staff lacks trainingPosted Jan 13, 2014
I was checking in at 8:00 pm and am told that my room is not ready! Without an apology, expecting me to consider this as "normal". In general staff does not know how to speak to a customer and manage expectations.

Super nice people and locationPosted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: Breakfast room is clean with no smell because they bring you the fried food to the table instead of cooking in front of you. Staff are SUPER
Cons: The scent powder they spray in the rooms is synthetic and cause allergy.
Location: Location is practically in Burj Khalifa area ... Dubai mall, cafe's and restaurant are walking distances away.
It is modern and located near Burj Khalifa (near means 5 min walk)

Pros: All spicialy location
Cons: It's perfect
Location: Dubai mall is all what u want and you can use train thru it to reach the other places.
You can reach easily by walking to the amazing Dubai mall spicialy to see the fountain at new year, so no need to wait for taxi or traffic as what happen to all people there jam traffic .

I Love it!Posted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel.
Cons: I would like to be able to bring the pillows home with me!
Location: Fabulous location. Walk over to Dubai Mall through Souk Madinat. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and of course the amazing tallest building.
I had a wonderful time at this hotel and so glad I chose it. I was on my own and felt very comfortable. The staff are exceptional. They would go out of their way to help me with advice on where to go and what to see and how to get there. Valentine and Christian were particularly helpful and they are all so charming. The décor is beautiful, the rooms are not huge but oh so comfortable, the food was delicious, and I enjoyed the music in the evenings. It is a vibrant hotel. I will definitely be back :)

Bijou boutique hotel in Downtown DubaiPosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: We enjoyed the friendly staff and and the high quality of the furnishings.
Cons: Construction caused noise all day long. Bathrooms have minimal privacy - rooms are only suitable for couples or people who are very friendly already!
Location: This hotel is located in the new, upscale Downtown Dubai area. The entire area is pedestrian-friendly and it's easy to walk around.
This is a small and high-quality, jewelbox hotel in the new pedestrian-friendly upscale area of Downtown Dubai. 4.5 stars out of 5. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the interiors are done to a high standard. The rooms are very modern and comfortable and have views of the hotel garden (currently under construction), the pool, or the pedestrian boulevards of Downtown Dubai. Note that the bathrooms have minimal privacy (thin glass doors to the shower and toilet), so you should only share a room with someone who is a close friend or partner. Even then, it might not be enough privacy for everyone! Room service is decently priced and available 24 hours. There is a fun outdoor bar and shisha scene by the pool in the evenings with a DJ, but it's not loud enough to disturb the rooms. The restaurants are also high-quality and quite good by London standards. It's a pleasant 10-minute walk to the Dubai Mall (biggest mall in the world), the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world), and lots of other restaurants and hotels. I would come back to this hotel, but only if I had a room to myself, due to the minimal privacy of the bathroom. If you are traveling alone, then it would be great.

great localePosted Nov 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Over all we had a good stay. the hotel is hip & the crowd great. Food was good too. the pool area is great to relax after a mad day of shopping and they serve drinks & shisha till late. The 2 problem area (1) room service was a tad slow and (2) the day we checked in the air condition broke down for a few hours and when we informed the reception they told us it was the case in entire hotel after 6 calls. Right from the 1st call had we been told that we wouldnt have to call repeatedly. however they did say that it would be fixed in 3 hours on the last call and i believe it was done in that time.

Lovely hotel but noisy at nightPosted Nov 9, 2013
The hotel is good, as we have taken pool side rooms, although our reservation was for garden view, however reseptionist said its much better, however the worse thing was the noise from the pool night restaurant, we stayed in 6 floor however music was heard loudly,, every thing was ok with the hotel except this part, which makes me not to book again with them
