“Perfect for central location”

Just come back from 5 days in Dubai with wife and 2 teenage children. Overall a fabulous apartment if going for a short break and I would stay there again but a couple of minor things to point out. 1. Rate was B&B. We were not presented with vouchers for breakfast at adjacent cafe so paid for first morning. Hotel did refund money without but only after I had produced copy of my booking confirming B&B. Breakfast choice was limited to three set menus and not an open buffet 2. Pool was empty for refusrbishment. We could sit beside it and at this time of year 25-30C was fine, but when you get to April and beyond a pool will be essential so check its working again. That said staff were very friendly and helpful with all requests for information, and remained very apologetic over breakfast confusion.

“Excellent Apartments”

The hotel was clean, the apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, the kitchen had all required. Wish we had time to stay longer.

“Dubai on business”

Very smart modern apartment in centre of business district, facilities too numerous to count or use in a short stay. Only a short taxi ride to Dubai Mall etc, only problem is that this place is so new that none of the local cab drivers have heard of it. Tip: Tell them to take you to the Fairmont (the all know that one) The Place is two buildings further on.

“Beautiful Place”

This building is a hotel/apartment establishment. The rooms that they do use are styled as if they were one bedroom apartments, but they are great for extended stays. If you are looking for a more catered experience this would not be the place for you. If you want to be left alone this would be right up your alley. There is a restaurant on the premise with great food for a great price, but you are also within walking distance from many restaurant establishments.

“superb helpful staff”

we booked on the day we arrived as we were visiting our sick grandson, the staff were really helpful the accomadation was superb, the manager even let us stay in our room after checkout time free of charge till we left for the airport.They were very understanding in what was an extremly difficult situation.

“Ascott Park Place”

Excellent location. For a family of four this hotel suite worked out great - spacious and comfortable.

“Great apartments, mediocre staff/breakfast”

Excellent location / apartments. Very clean and spacious. Couldn't be happier! The frontdesk staff is not the best/smartest in the world. Taking a breakfast order took 4 tries. On that note the room delivered breakfast simply sucks. Cold food, warm juice and cold hot chocolates!

“New Dubai 5 Star”

Very clean hotel. Great size rooms and very central to everything you would want to do in Dubai. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone.

“Not the best”

new building, nice design, but master bedroom does not have ensuite bathrom, and door is sliding which is not enough of privacy. hotel did not have an extra bed. no concierge.

“Not impressed with The Place....”

The Place is a grand, well designed, nice amenities, apartment hotel. But....some of the services and attention to detail is something to be desired. There are no wireless capabilities, problem by itself. Also, on the second floor there is nowhere to plug in for internet. So you are stuck downstairs if you want to use the notebook. No television in the second floor bedroom. The kitchen. Before moving in, there was an inventory sheet of all the items within the apartment. It clearly says there is a frying pan in the apartment. They consider a pot with a handle, a frying pan. A regular pot with lid, make no mistake of it. I asked, 'do u eat eggs?' he said 'yes', i asked 'would you fry eggs in this pot?', hes said 'no'. But he said, that is what they call a frying pan. Oh yea, and the internet went out for up to 4 hours, and this happen at least 5 times in a 11 day business trip. So take your chances if you like. If you don't need any of the items I am harping about, this place is for you.
