“Everything we hoped for”
Atlantis was everything promised and more, from the easy check in to the explanation of why we should upgrade to the 12th floor club class if we intended to have breakfast each day, (and are we pleased we did as we ate and drank for the whole of Australia and saved ourselves a fortune!) from a full breakfast to lunchtime and all day snacks, afternoon English High tea and pre dinner drinks and food (which was enough not to need dinner), the whole lot cost little more than breakfast would have done so if offered grab with both hands. The aquariums are among the best in the world, the timing of our visit meant the place was not overrun with children and the weather was bearable for Australians. We triple shared as friends in a 2 queen bedded room, very large with all the usual 5 star facilities and with the extra niceties of fresh fruit and chocolates delivered to our room on arrival, the views from the balcony were breathtaking, the sea calm and warm, the service was excellent from the Bellboys to the Club room staff and we would return or recommend in a heartbeat. I'm sure that families with children would also love this hotel as the young seem to be very well catered for.
“Best hotel in Dubai”
Perfect family vacation stop
“Spectacular !”
All the staff were without exception very courteous and service orientated. Loved the hotel. It was spectacular in the public areas like the corridors and foyer. Children loved being able to use the Waterpark 'for free'" !!! Plenty of dining choices which kept everyone happy. Would definately go back. Teenage 'kids' club for was a bonus too.
“Dubai delight a must do”
Atlantis Dubai is all that you expect from it and then 100% more. I was thrilled with my choice of accommodation. The room was superb and the staff were beyond friendly. The level of service that I experienced was amazing and beyond anything that I have every experienced in any other hotel. The choice of food is incrediable and suitable to all pockets. I am a disabled traveller using a wheelchair and I found the staff very accommodating. I would thouroughly recommend the resort to others a once in a lifetime experience even down to receiving a Christmas gift in Christmas stocking delivered to the door by hotel staff - felt totally spoilt. The shore was our favourite place to eat and drink a must for Tex- Mex fans. Only downside was using the metro to leave bit of a rip off as a taxi for the three of us would have been cheaper.
“Very Good but Very Busy”
Great hotel, glad I went, would I go back, yes, but only if other places in Dubai we not available. In a few years time when it is not the latest and greatest it will hopefully be a little quieter, with 1500 rooms it's always going to be busy, but right now there are so many day visitors that the lobby and ground floor are so busy it's unreal! you have to show your key card to get into the guest only areas like the lifts or the pools, can get a little annoying at times.
“Great experiance”
Pricey whilst there but a great hotel and facilities
“For families, absolute value for money -”
One of the best short stay luxury holidays we've had in years. Absolute value for money. Don't get me wrong, it's not cheap - but I think it's the only luxury holiday where I've not begrudged the bill at the end. The facilities are very family orientated, and you feel well cared for and safe anytime of day or night. Aquaventure is amazing, and has something for all ages and abilities - even enough to keep adrenaline junkies from getting withdrawal symptoms! Our highlight was at Dolphon Bay. I know there is all the controversy about animal welfare and I was initially uneasy , and was on the lookout incase the animals were not being well treated. I felt re-assured that the trainers had extremely close and loving relationships with the dolphins and the welfare of the animals dictated the events. They had a saying " you love what you understand and you protect what yopu love" - that is so true, my two children will forever have dolphin welfare in their hearts. We only went out of the resort on one excursion - again a highlight and very recommeneded - we went on the Khasab Tour to Mussandam with Arabia Horisons. Here we saw wild dolphons close up, swam with fish in the gulf and had a 4 hour cruise on a traditional Dhow through the beautiful Fjords of Mussandam. The hotel has a quite behind the scenes army with only one goal in mind - your comfort. Medical assistance available on site. Peace of mind for parents, so the whole family can enjoy thye break - I think sums it all up
“Resort on a huge scale contradicts its true nature of a sanctuary for relaxation”
Our family stayed for 2 nights in late December and were stunned by the whole concept of the place. Expecting tackiness, we found pleasing quirkiness instead. Unlike other beach front resorts on Jumeirah Beach, it offers an unobstructed open ocean view and the sunsets were magnificent. The immense acquarium anchors the place and provides a soul. Went for Imperial Club rooms which provided great value foodwise, plus a cherished spot on the balcony to unwind with drinks. The bathrooms were large and service impeccable. The fact that it was 'out on a limb' did not worry us. I do believe that in Dubai, given its scale, most resort hotels would suffer a little inconvenience from the main action in its own way. Acquaventure was a bonus for our 2 teenage boys although they managed to cover its possibilities within 2 hours. Although busy, the place rarely feels rushed or crowded; it functions beautifully. Would have loved to stay longer which says it all.
“As the Brand promise”
Memorable experience!
“Be back next new year”
27th Dec 10 to 5th Jan 11 with my 5yr old son. we booked because of the weather, water park and the new years party. What a great holiday, definitley back next yr and every one we met said the same. We stayed In the imperial club rooms, well worth the money, free entry to the water park (which is expesnive if you had to pay everyday) and we went every day! free snack all day - nice selection of sushi, sanwiches, crisp, cakes, fruit, and some hot buffet stuff, orange, apple juice and water. Free entry to kids club which my son loved, and you can eat a hot breakfast in there save going down to the other places which can get very busy (but you never have to queue) Be careful when geting of the plane people tell you they are taxis, but they are private taxis and they charge double the fair. so only use the marked taxi rank. Water park can get busy, particularly for sunbeds if your not there before 10.30am. However, the rides while busy, we never waited for more than 10 mins. We use to go at 10 till 12 or at 4 when it was quieter. I didnt think there was that much entertainment in the hotel, and what i mean is in the restaurants or bars for adults with kids. The lost chambers is an amazing place and you can touch some of the fish. The kids club is great, my son went most nights which really surprised me cos everyother holiday he has been on he goes once and not gone again. So while there is not much to do together with the kids of a nigth, the kids club is great.
