“Plan to stay again”

Hotel was clean, and staff was friendly. Check-in was quick using Expedia reservation. Very reasonable on rates for Dubai. I stayed in Dubai overnight while in transit to Afghanistan. Restaraunts and clubs on site, so there was no need to leave the hotel. Only issue was the internet was "dial up", but I couldn't find the connection in the room anyway and the late night desk clerk didn't know either. I was told upon check-out that the internet is going to be improved. Either way I plan to stay again.

“Nice Hotel”

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. Although I didn't find it very centrally located, everything you need is located in the hotel: Helpful staff, good restaurants, shuttle service, gift shop, & etc. (even a grocery store and more restaurants across the street).

“Very close to airport”

Not a bad place to spend 1 or 2 nights. They offer a free breakfast buffet which was pretty good. The hotel has a "cigar bar" on the second floor. It's not really a cigar bar but that's what it's called. It was a truly amazing lounge which featured 25 very attractive middle eastern ladies performing belly dance routines to live music. It was totally cool and I'd love to visit it again. The show lasted until about 3 a.m. There's a grocery store across the street from the hotel which is open all night long and it's very convienient. The hotel staff was professional and taxis are easy to flag down out front. The ride to airport terminal # 2 takes about 6 minutes.

“OK, BUT......”

Not recommended if u plan 2 go other places in dubai. This is due to dubai traffic. The hotel is on one side of city so it could take up to 2 hours to get to a place like jumeirah in traffic.There are NO attractions near hotel. Nearest area of note is Deira.

“Great room for the price”

Very nice hotel. not as fancy as some of the ones in Dubai, but worth the money. Staff was courtious and all spoke english. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. less that 10 min from airport. I will stay here again.

“Location not convenient, area run down, no internet, but its cheap”

The hotel is fine for the price i paid Problems:the area its in is run down by Dubai's standards. The people living there are the laborers who work in Dubai. There's nothing interesting to do around the hotel, no interesting bars or clubs. The hotel is too far from the center of town when you factor in traffic. Don't expect anything less than an hour to get from the hotel down to Shaikh Zayed Road during traffic. Other than that: the rooms and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom seemed a bit run down, perhaps its old. The hallways and lobby are nice and clean, no complaints there, and the breakfast room is acceptable. Nothing amazing, but acceptable, though the food is not that good. Parking's not a problem, as the hotel has its own underground parking. Another big problem - no internet. There's an internet 'cafe' in the lobby but its horribly slow, so that I didn't bother. The 'good' news is that there's an internet cafe a few blocks from the hotel, but its just a long room with tiny wooden cubicles and ancient computers. You can check your email but you can't shake the feeling you're in some strange porno booth. Good news is that its right next to the airport, though with traffic problems in that area it can still take you 30 minutes to get there. If you can afford a better hotel in a better neighborhood, take that option. The only good thing about this hotel is that its clean-ish and cheap.

“Mixed feelings”

The hotel is in an area that has few restaurants or shops nearby and it is far from the city centre. The breakfast and evening buffet were not bad but I found it very strange that the bar and nightclub are independent of the hotel and will not let you sign the bill to your room. The same applies to the Internet service, which is only available from two points in the lobby - and you have to pay cash for a minumum of 30 minutes at the same sort of price I would pay for 7 days, 24 hours in the UK! The hotel itself is clean and the service was O.K. but nothing exceptional. I guess it is reasonable for the price.

“Bad area”

Hotel staff where not helpfull when asked about Dubai, Taxis at hotel : Hotel doorman trys to get you a taxi which ends up being an unauthorised Dubai taxi and it cost 3 times more than the Dubai taxis & if they have an accident you will not be insured.Hotel nite clubs go on to after 3am and you cant get to sleep.
