“Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff and a Good Location”

I have been staying at the Dubai Concorde Hotel & Residence for the past four years now and really won't stay anywhere else when visiting Dubai. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are nice and it has a good central location on the Deira side of Dubai. The hotel has a nice cafe (Arman Cafe) on the back side where you can get some great Shawarmas(sandwich)--relax and watch the hustle & bustle of the city. I have stayed in some "fancier" hotels in Dubai, but the Concorde has a charm and friendliness that the others don't. Deira City Centre (shopping mall) is about 5-minutes away via taxi and Nasser Square is about 5-minutes in the opposite direction.

“Conveniently located, great apartments”

We stayed in the residence portion of the hotel in a 3-bedroom apartment. Very clean if slightly dated but no complaints about service. We called for a hairdryer and it arrived within minutes, great house keeping service everyday. Great breakfast buffet made it convenient because it's a bit of a walk to get to any other restaurants.

“Very nice hotel”

This hotel is located very close to the airport and near the Deira city centre. Room was very spacious and clean. The double bed accommodated for two adults and two kids and they even provided an extra bed. Breakfast was nice and adequate. Staff were extremely friendly. Though their check in is at 2pm they gave us a room immediately upon our arrival (9am). There is a free shuttle daily at 10am to the jumeira beach. The driver dropped us at the dubai mall on our request. Taxi back to hotel was only 20 dhs. Hotel has a travel desk that can arrange local tours. The dune bashing tour is a must - real fun. There is a small grocery shop next doors and the deira mall is about 1KM from the hotel.

The location is great, security is very good, I would like to stay there next time.

“Superb except for Internet gimmick”

The staff were extremely helpful and overall a very pleasant place to stay. Only one annoyance was the internet. To connect to the internet you had to go downstairs and get a printed access card with a new user/password. Access was expensive and they blocked Skype so you had to use the hotel phone. Shame because it would be better if the hotel just charged you a bit more for the room and gave internet access along with the room. Apart from the internet issue, the hotel was superb.

The staff was helpful, the room was huge and clean but it seemed a little ran ndown.

Great opprtunity for me to see the Dubi , it was the first time for me and i enjoyed the accomplishment the small country has durning the last 30 years.

“Will not be back!”

My husband and I arrived at the hotel at 3pm and expected not to have to wait for the room. Instead, we were told to have a seat since the room wasn't ready but that the wait wouln't be more than 5 minutes. One hour and a half later, we were still waiting for the room to be ready. Also, as this is a "dry" hotel, alcohol isn't available in the room mini bar or in any of the hotel restaurants. Although the room was comfortable, the decoration was very tacky and the AC in the room was very loud which prevented us from having a good night's sleep. The staff needs serious training as they were arguing publicly. Overall, this isn't a good hotel and we wouln't recommend it to anyone.
