“Surprisingly Good Apartment Hotel Close to the Airport”

I booked the Flora Apartments for one night because it is close to the airport and I had an early start the next day. The rooms were excellent value for money with everything you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel but at a fraction of the price. Not sure I'd want to have a long stay there simply because it is an apartment hotel and therefore does not have the restaurants, bars, etc. that you'd expect from a fully appointed hotel. The immediate area did not look that great either although it was very easy to get a taxi from outside and either Bud Dubai or Deira are only a few minutes away.

“Can't wait to go back!!”

I found this hotel to be extremely accomodating during my vacation. The hotel's apartments are fully furnished with everything you need for a long stay, very spacious and the cleaning was immaculate and done daily The hotel is directly across from a metro stop and literally minutes walking to a major mall. It was extremely easy getting a taxi and the staff was the best, so helpful and polite. The greeted me by name and remembered the little things also like how I preferred my coffee. They offered tips on great spots to visit, shop and see, there is also a tour agent on site in the lobby that you can book tours with. I used them one day for a private tour of Abu Dhabi and had a great time! There is a very nice gym with separate steam and sauna areas for the women and men. There is also a relaxing spa on site. For all that you get I found my stay there very affordable and I will be booking with them again on my next visit to the city.

“Great Value for Money”

I rate this as one of my best stays world wide. Though the check in staff could be a bit more cheerful, and not behave as if everyone wants to get away with a freebie in the hotel. But I guess they are trained that way. Except for that minor blip, the stay was a dream. The rooms were huge...and the value for money was evident. The kitchenette was well stocked and the service staff were very very helpful in settling one down. I would recommend this hotel to all who would read this. Thanks Expedia for getting the best rates.

“Great value for money”

Very impressed with the staff - when we arrived in our room there was no sofa bed for my child in our 1 bedroom apartment (just a sofa) so they upgraded us to a 2 brm apartment! It's not in the centre of town but a cheap cab ride away. They have a complimentary shuttle from the airport which wasn't advertised on Expedia so make sure you request that. It was a 13 dirham taxi fare from the airport so it's cheap anyway. Occasionally you can hear a plane taking off in the distance so make sure you take some ear plugs if you intend on sleeping during the day. The black out curtains were fantastic. If you are having a massage at the spa and you don't want oil put through your hair then you need to tell them - my hair was extremely oily afterwards which I wasn't impressed with considering I had just had my hair done at the hairdressers the day before I left for Dubai! Overall I thought the Flora Park Apartments was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

“An excellent experience!”

The staff was really friendly and very helpful! Although, there was some language barriers, the staff was excellent and they made every attempt to take care of our needs. I really enjoyed my stay and it definitely won't be my last stay at the hotel.

“Great place for large groups”

This is a great place to stay if you are in a big group or family. We rented the 3 bedroom apartment and found is so comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff were very accommodating. We felt right at home. Plus the location is great, next to the Metro, the Diera City Center shopping mall, there are lot of places to eat within walking distance. Just note that this is in the older part of Dubai, so you will not see the fancy buildings, but, it's still a great place to stay. The breakfast buffet and wireless internet were also great. We used the gym, pool, sauna and hairstylist and found all the services to be very convenient.

“Short Stay”

We were very pleased with the hotel in general. We appreciated the welcoming staff and close proximity to amenities. We occupied a three bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The only disappointing news I have to share is the fact that there was no hot water in our shower during the evenings. The water pressure was adequate for the ninth floor, however the water temperature was not hot enough. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone and we would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Dubai.

very good service, felt like royalty felt like a 5 star hotel without pretencion handy to airport , about 10 min in cab ,for aerly morming flight 5 min walk to metro which is fast during peak times

This hotel is about 10 minutes from Dubai Airport, my room is quite spacious, complete with lounge area and kitchen.The service was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful plus wifi internet is free. I will go back to stay there next time.
