A small hotel , with small rooms. But everything you need is in those rooms.

“Friendly, and surprisingly up market”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The suite was beautiful, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, full kitchen, and the decor was quite up market. The staff were friendly and helpful which is not always the case in Dubai. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is newly renovated so it is very clean and comfortable. The location is near mall of the emirates so it is very convenient to reach everything you like to do in Dubai.

A fairly new hotel and area. A few construction site opposite and adjacent is ongoing. If your main purpose is shopping, this will be a perfect location, it's right beside the famous 'Mall of the Emirates', less than 5mins walk. Hotel staff is friendly and majority helpful. I will go back there again if i visit Dubai again.

“Definately going to go back!”

We stayed in the Golden Tulip Suites for 6 days and had a lovely stay. The studio apartment was adequate for our needs as we spent most of our time out and about. The shower was great, bed very comfy and hotel quiet. The hotel staff are very helpful and efficient. It really is perfectly located being just round the corner from the Mall of the Emirates and there is a metro station in the mall but there are always taxis outside too. There are 3 beauty salons just down the road for ladies who want a wee bit of pampering and they are all very reasonable pricewise. The room service menu is okay for teas and coffees but I'm sorry to say I did not enjoy the sandwiches. Then again we only had food from them the one time so maybe other items on the menu are better. I will definately stay there again.

excellent hotel despite buliding work surrounding(JAN 09) good location for emerates mall need taxis to most other places, nice staff, nice quite roof top pool woulod use again especially when the new metro opens which will make life easier to get arounf

“Good hotel but be cautious!”

We went to this hotel with another couple and have mixed experiences. First the good. The location is within a block of the Mall of the Emirates and you will need to walk through the mall to get to the Metro station. The restaurant at the hotel is adequate if you are looking for breakfast but there are so many places to go, you probably won't use it. Beds were a little firm but just fine. The kitchen is adequate for a brief stay and there is a washing machine combo. TV is not that great but all you really need is CNN when you can spend your time elsewhere and enjoy yourself. Taxi service is plentiful so there is no issue there. Now the bad parts. First, the room is very "open" so if you turn on any lights at night, the room gets very bright, even if you turn on the smallest lights. Second, our friends were told there is a plug adapter in each room but none was available (I came prepared with a spare). But the worst part was the wet bar- be sure to get an account of everything that is supposed to be there when you check in. When we checked out they wanted to charge me for an energy drink when we never even touched anything because of knowing that hotels charge big money for drinks. I challenged the charge and they waived it. So be careful!!! Otherwise, it's in a good location, fairly comfortable, and the price is pretty decent for what you get.
