“Even better than we had hoped”

The Residences provided a great base from which to explore Dubai Marina and downtown Dubai and beyond. We had previously stayed out on Palm Jumeirah, which was brilliant, but being on JPR Walk was another dimension altogether. Our rooms were low in the building, on the UP floor, and that suited us perfectly. The close proximity of supermarkets, coupled with the kitchenette, made breakfast and lunch a pleasure. We saved dinner for some exquisite restaurants, one of which was in the adjoining Hilton Resort - Pachanga. Staff at the Residences couldn't have been more helpful, from the room cleaner to the concierge and reception staff. Our request for an early access to our room was honoured and that was so good. Location of the Residences is perfect for The Walk, but also for the Dubai Metro which opens up Dubai at a very low cost. Where the Metro doesn't go, use taxis, which are also cheap, and there are hundreds of them. Don't miss Ibn Battuta mall, which is two stops away towards Jebel Ali on the Metro - best mall in Dubai, for atmosphere.

“Another new great experience”

I use to stay in Hilton Jumeirah hotel and it was always a very comfortable stays. This time Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Residencies was introduces to me being more convenient furnished apartments with all utilities you could ever think of. I decided to try it since I know the quality of Hilton hotels, I can say it was great experience and very nice comfortable stay. Spacious apartment with 5 star hotel qualities and the staff were amazing, very helpful with a big smile always on their faces. Since it is connected to Hilton hotel, they grant access to the beach and the main swimming pool. Worth to be mentioned that the day rate is on the higher side of such similar apartments/residencies and I believe it should be reviewed because simply you can get 5 star hotels room with the same rate if not less within the same area (JBR).

“Soundproofing required for connecting doors”

As a couple visiting, we had a seaview kingsize room. The room was great - large with small kitchen area + washing machine. However our problem was the connecting door. Soundproofing was non-existent. In the adjoining room or rooms there were families who woke us over the first three nights of our stay. We approached reception regarding this to see if there were any rooms without connecting doors. They were accommodating and moved us/upgraded us to a larger room without connecting doors. The rest of our stay was great. I would say based on our own experience that this is probably great for families, not so for couples unless there are whole floors with rooms without connecting doors! I would also say that the lower seaview floors suffer from road noise below which continues throughout the night as this is the thoroughfare of resort traffic and wide boy booming music vehicles! Our flight was late arriving which meant we arrived at our destination around 2.30am and we were still able to get a meal at this time and there was still plenty of road and foot traffic too. You can get free buses to some shopping malls if you ask Reception for the timetable which isn't particularly made known to you.

“Disappointing check out service”

Not up to usual Hilton standards of service. Despite having given a Pre Authorisation on my Credit Card for any in-room items used, on departure whilst the taxi sat waiting at 4:45am I was told to wait until someone checked my room to see which mini-bar items had been used! Disappointing that when I replied 'none' I still had to wait whilst a member of staff went to verify. Very disappointing service I thought from check out staff. I am a frequent traveller and have never had to endure this before. Incidentally other reviewers complained about the lifts and having to wait a while as there are not enough to service the size of this hotel - I would disagree. I never experienced any issues of this sort.
