Good position on main road but quiet. Close to airport Dh17 for a taxi to airport. Staff were excellent.

Hotel - Good quality, value - 4* hotel Rooms very spacious, comfortable, clean with seperate dressing room and 6ft soft bed Linen and towels changed every day Downside - No swimming pool and no parking Car park across the road, which is only small money for 24 hours but queue for a space parking in local roads difficult Hotel has a full view of the creek - ask for a creek view, over a busy road but as balcony doors are closed all the time, this was ok for us I would recommend this hotel to business people or couples holidaying - Not families as limited facilities

“Would happily stay at Riviera again”

Highly recommend the Riviera hotel, its staff, fair buffet breakfast with wide choice and local to everything in Deira - Souks, shops, bus stations, Abras's and taxi's passing by on Baniyas road. An all round win for us.

it was in an excellent location for all the activities that we did. you could go for a walk along the creek /souks/places to eat if was there for a longer time a swimming pool would have been nice to cool down in!but no faults what so ever .

Hospitaility unmatched, professionalism superb, confident and courteous staff willing to please the patrons. This is an older hotel that is a well kept little place amongst some towering gaints, it is in a great location and easily acessible, with a great creekside view of the tallest building in the world. close to shopping malls and restaurants also public transportation available.

“Good Value and Location”

Very nice hotel. It is Muslim, so the mini bar contains soda and juice only. On the other hand, when did you last get a full can of soda from a mini bar for about 60 cents? Restaurant is very expensive, but they have daily specials which are reasonable and pretty good. Location is great ~ 1 block from Metro, bus stop, "big bus" and abras. But, neighborhood is nothing special. It has great views of the creek. WiFi is very, very weak. Even though we were on the first floor, we had to go to the lobby or sit out front to use it. Arrived early expecting to check our luggage, but the checked us in anyway

“Enjoyed our stay”

A very friendly hotel. Staff very good and we got into our room early which was great as we were very tired. The food was good and the atmosphere very pleasant. This hotel is just facing the creek and is handy to cross on the water taxis to the souks.

“excellent dubai hotel”

For a 2 day stopover in dubai with 2 kids this hotel was perfectly adequate. Not too far from the airport, late check in (we arrived at 2am - 2 hours late) very helpful. We were nice and close to the souks and had a view from one of the windows of the creek. Taxi ride wasn't too long to Mall of Emirates and taxi's are nice and cheap anyway. very impressed.

“That breakfast!”

Our room was spacious - with a complete sitting area separate from the bedroom. The view over the creek to downtown Dubai was excellent. But the best thing of all was the Riviera breakfast - a vast choice from at least half a dozen different cuisines, all of them beautifully cooked. Apart from that - friendly staff, good location for getting to the airport without having to worry about the traffic. What more can you want!

“Good value hotel”

Last year we stayed at a hotel in the business area but this year we wanted somewhere near the Creek. This hotel is on Creek Road, looked small enough to get a personal service but large enough to get quality. On arrival, we found the reception staff (Grace) very helpful and friendly. We had already upgraded from a standard room to the Executive package to be sure that the taxi fees and internet were included but on arrival Grace advised that she had upgraded us again (at no extra charge) to a suite instead of a room! The view over the creek was perfect. The room was well air-conditioned and the hotel had a very good skyline view of the main buildings in Dubai, including the Burj Khalifa. 1 minute's walk took you to the side of the creek where you could watch the ships being loaded and unloaded, but the room was not noisy despite the main road right outside. We weren't overly impressed with the Hana restaurant in the hotel, although the food was good but not really to our taste. If you like sushi and a multitude of seafood options then you would really like it though. After breakfast (in the other restaurant) we took a short stroll along the creek to get some air then popped back in for another coffee. As we had left earlier, we then had to pay for the coffee so I wasn't too pleased about that but we could have drunk as much as we liked once we had paid! Overall, good staff, and will be a fine hotel once the renovations are complete! We'd stay there again.
