“Awesome Stay at IBIS Mall of Emirates”
The Ibis Hotel at Mall of Emirates is a fantastic hotel to stay in Dubai. Its location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. There are always taxis available outside the main entrance and if you like the metro is only a short 10 minute walk away. We came to play golf, visit the Burj Al Arab, go to Wild Wadi Waterpark, Atlantis and the hotel served as a perfect destination for exploring these areas. The hotel's restaurants and buffet breakfast are awesome and the customer service was also good. If your looking for reasonable accommodation prices in Dubai then this is a fantastic hotel. Also free WiFi in the lobby so has everything a traveler could need! Awesome! Will be back again for sure!
“Great Location, close to metro”
Hotel was great. Location was excellent. 3 min walk to the Mall of the Emirates. Was no water in the vending machines in the hallway, so bring your own water to drink.
“Convenient”
This hotel is self service, so don't expect a bellhop to take your bags to your rooms, etc. For this type of hotel, it's well-maintained, and is in a perfect location, about a 5 minute walk from Mall of Emirates. Also, on the same block you can find cafes, salons/massage parlors, frozen yogurt, bakery and small convenience stores. Free wireless internet is available in the lobby area with plenty of seating for guests to come down from their rooms with their computers to use. Cable internet is available in the rooms, but is very pricey. There is underground parking that can be accessed by keycard. The card reader was against the brick wall well before the turn into the gate/ramp to go underground. Some guests (including myself) had a difficult time finding the card reader. I was not impressed with the cleanliness - it was far from immaculate but I have seen worse. Because of the location, with everything in walking distance, I would definitely recommend it to others.
“value for the price”
Overall very, very nice. A few minor things missing: Shampoo, washcloths, hand towels
“Good value for money”
Good value for money - looks more upmarket than we expected. Lovely modern lobby, nice bar/lounge area. Well situated near to Mall of the Emirates - 5 minutes walk. Room comfortable and adequately supplied. Will definitely stay there again.
“its worth it =)”
I am satisfied with the price i paid for, the transportation is very easy for as to go here and there...
“Convenient business hotel”
Ibis hotels in the Midle East are consistently good for business travel . You have enough desk space to work and Internet access (in some free in some overpriced). The food is not great but ok for a quick bite each day. Service is always friendly and helpful. The Ibis Mall Of the Emirates has an advantage becaue of the location, close to the mall Wye you want to step out of business and have a stroll or go for lunch/dinner. also good location in the middle of the various business centres.
“just ok”
No Minibar, lack of amenities, shower box half glass water everywhere when we shower
“Good hotel, far from town and center area.”
Hotel is good and clean. A bit noisy since you can easily hear guests in other rooms and hall. Far from town center with no adequae night time public transportation option.
“Expensive internet & no bell captain!”
Nice contemporary interior new hotel. Well designed clean rooms. Good indoor & outdoor restaurant and pub. Next to important shopping mall which makes it easy for guests to shop in Dubai. On main "Zayed Road" which gives it good access to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. What I did not like is the fact I had to drag my luggage because this hotel is self service. I was in business trip and last thing i wanted to do is carry 3 luggage full of heavy samples to my room while wearing my suit. Also, internet is very expensive. I was in business trip and I needed internet 24 hours. The savings I though I made were spent on internet! This hotel is good for tourists but not recommended for business. Ibis in Kuwait is completely different! They offered free internet for all guests which makes it brilliant for business guests.
