Metropolitan Hotel Deira guests can enjoy city views and sunbathe on the terraces around the open-air rooftop pool or the temperature controlled hot tub. “Not Impressed”
Hotel building was OK but still has ways to go regarding customer service. Some staff is rude and pushy. After I checked out I was tired and had 12 hours to wait in hotel lobby before my flight. After ten hours, on the lobby couch, I was tired and closed my eyes. There was no one else in the lobby. Hotel employee reported that I closed my eyes for a moment. Security came and abruptly and rudely requested that I stay awake otherwise they would ask me to leave. This was after I gave them a wad of money for my stay. Although the hotel it self was acceptable, staff behavior certainly put damper on the stay. I stayed in better hotels in Dubai and will spend my company money with people that have compassion rather than forget loyalty as soon as I hand over my money. Shame on staff of this Hotel.

Hotel is nothing special, but good for the price.

Outrageously high wireless internet charge ( DH 100/ $25 per day) Figure out where the nearest free-wireless Starbucks is.
“not thrilled”
It took them a while to find our booking, our room was dark, no view, bed cover is old, carpet is old, hallway is dark. If you are used to nice, luxuries places, you will not be happy with this place. Most taxi drivers had a hard time finding the hotel and the hotel does not look like the picture here on Expedia. stayed for one night only. The staff was nice and there is a nice Irish bar in the lobby. Would not stay there again.

“Information not correct”
1. There is no hotel transfer from the airport to the hotel. 2. The hotel is farther from the souks or palm area than written. Time in minutes can be doubled. 3. The front desk service for information around Dubai was not as good or knowledgeable as I would expect.
“Excellent Hotel”
enjoyed my stay in Dubai. Check in and check out was very fast. Hotel wasa pleasant stay.
