“Good location, great service”

The hotel was easy to access, upon check in I went to the suite entrance and instead of sending me off to the main desk they checked me into a suite for no additional charge. Good variety of restaurants on premises. The in room internet never worked properly so I had to get a wifi card from the front desk for 100dh or $30us which only worked in certain areas of the lobby. WIFI should be free.

Good hotel, great staff, on-site restraunts were very good. For a business stay or to break-up a long trip, this is a good hotel to utilize. Also, on-site car service is definitely first class.

“Amusing nightlife !!”

Was convenient and comfortable , interesting and vibrant nightlife going on at the back of the hotel , as well as dining area , cocktails and eclectic range of people

“Nice place to stay”

I personally liked the place with nice employees to take care. Few small issues if that can be taken care it is an excellent place to be in there. If the breakfast is included in the room rate...its pretty expensive according to U.S. standards. See I had to extend it for a day and I had to pay the rack rate and they did not accept the Expedia charges. So you all should have some arrangements like that so that the guests have some flexibility to make changes with the same rate. You can also have some arrangements to have city tour program...and if u all have it then its great and I missed it. Over all it is a nice place to be in. Thank you. P.S. I saw one cockroach in my room...if that can be intimated to them so that they can fumigate that room...

“Good deal”

As a business traveller the hotel was fine. The Red Lion pub offers a good palce to relax, meet people and have a casual dinner/lunch. Taxi service is readily available. Internet works fine. There is nothing glitzy about this place but it functions very well. If your doing buisness downtown it is not the place to be, but for Marina/Jebel Ali, it's good.

“Great staff and convenient location!”

Although the hotel was not walking distance to the beach or town the hotel provided a great shuttle service to the mall and sister hotel on Jumeirah which was well worth the trip. Staff were extremely friendly. Hotel isnt as grand as the other Dubai hotels but it is still nice and in a convenient location albeit almost on the motorway but this is not uncommon in Dubai. Had a fantastic holiday, would recommend hotel but personally would stay nearer beach for a different experience next time

“Metropolitan Hotel”

Hotel property is old, but comfortable. Surrounding area lacks markets. Metro station near hotel is not functional yet however cabs are readily available. Overall good value for money.

“Good unpretencious place to stay”

The hotel is not large and grand, but is quite well equipped with the usual amenities. The rooms are average size - I stayed in a standard room booked through EXPEDIA. There are numerous restaurants and bars, a cinema complex attached, and full access to swimming and fitness facilities in the "residence" section. There are also a variety of shops (typical hotel type) on the premises. An added feature is the free shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates (and other destinations), for those who want the quintessential shopping experience or, maybe just go skiing! I have stayed at this extablishment four times and have always found the overall service and facilities to be more than. acceptable.

Old world charm hotel close to the city center and on the Main road. Metro station very close to hotel.
