“Great place to wind down”

We chose this hotel for a two-night stay on our return from Kabul. Needless to say, the contrast would have made any hotel seem luxurious, but this really was nice. The staff was right there when we needed anything and always polite and friendly. If and when we ever make it back to Dubai, we would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent Stay in Dubai”

Needless to say, that Moevenpick Deira is a truly 5-star hotel. Service and room were excellent. Food could be a bit better, but still fine. Hotel is in Deira, and the concierge will gladly help you catch a cab to any direction. The fantastic was that i could watch planes land and take off right from my room - hotel is not far from the airport. Also, the guests are entitled to a free visit to Moevenpick's beach - called Oceana - which is located on Palm Jumeirah! Shuttle to-from is complimentary, and so is the visit (you are given a locker key and towel for free; you need to pay only for drinks and food). Overall, i stayed extremely satisifed with my stay! Thank you, Moevenpick (and Expedia - i took advantage of the early booking on Expedia and got a great rate for my stay).

“Diera's best kept secret”

This hotel is simply fabulous... I can't say enough about it...The staff makes the whole experience there enjoyable from the start. The rooms are gorgeous, the Asian Restaurant serves a delectable menu, the concierge service is fabulous, and not that you would need maintenance, but if you did, I know would be quick and hospitable... The best and most impressive part of my stay was when I got to my room and grabbed the remote to turn the TV on while I unpacked, I saw my name on the screen "Welcome Ms. ...", I was pleasantly surprised and smiled. That meant I was not just a number to them... I promise, you will not regret your choice to stay here...

“dubai great stay”

The movenpick is in diera which is the old part of Dubai. Its a very fine hotel but there is some construction around it. Free shuttle to palm islands is great. Staff very very freindly and welcoming can`t do enough for you. We didn`t book breakfast but the resturant is inexpensive and serves an excellent breakfast. We had an early checkout and they provided complementary continental breakfast for us on departure. In all great value and a great stay.

“Such a great hotel”

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was a big bonus, so nice to see some nice and friendly faces to welcome you after a long-haul flight. Staff were really helpful and the room was just amazing. Location of the hotel was OK - costs approx US$5 to get to the main city centre and starting point for the Big Bus tour that gives access to the best bits of Dubai. Loved it!

“The staff make the difference”

Great hotel, new and swish, but what really makes it is the staff. From start to finish, doorman to desk, they were unfailingly polite and went out of their way to be nice and helpful. It's not exactly immediately close to anything but is about 15 minutes' taxi ride from the airport and 20-30 minutes from the Dubai mall. A very nice place to stay the night.

“Value for money”

the Movenpick Deira is a modern hotel, and the standard of fixtures and fittings reflected this. The staff all spoke fluent English and were very freindly and helpful. The hotel is convenient for the attractions in and around Deira, and there is a Metro station around 300 yards away, making it easy to reach the Burj Khalifa & Dubai Mall, and Mall of the Emirates. A day metro ticket is around £2.50, excellent value for the distances involved. The hotel also has a coplimentary shuttle bus twice a day to the Oceana Hotel on the Jumeirah Palm - the journey takes about 35 minutes as it is about 20 miles away.
