“It was very good considering it was Indian oriented”

Clean room. Efficent laundry service. Good room service. Very clean hotel. All staff speak hindi and also can speak English. Good standard of communication. Food is excellent but we say that because it is all indian mostly. The buffet breakfast has wide variety of food on offer and we were spoilt for choice. The travel service for local excursions were on time and handled very proffesionally. We were not over charged. We were even given a courtesy car to be dropped of at the airport. I commend the staff of the hotel for their courtious manners. The only problem was the loud music with heavy bass from the disco downstairs. It is so loud that we could hear it in our room on the 4th floor. It was a value for money stay. If we ever visit Dubai we would like to stay at this hotel. It is very centraly located

“Good value for money!”

For a 3-star hotel, the services there are not bad at all. The rooms are kept clean at all times and there are lots of entertainment outlets within and around the hotel - African night club, Russian karaoke, and Indian night dance - great places to pass the night away! But the Internet services are very poor as the wireless system works intermittently!By its name, I was hoping to see the hotel by the beach but was disappointed when I saw it in the middle of densely populated hinterland!

“quite disappointed”

1. They did not to pick me up at the airport despite email confirmation. Ended up having to get a taxi after a long queue at 2 AM, and pay for it. The funny thing was, receptionist said there was no order for a pick up. 2. Had to wait for 30 mins. for airport transfer despite a phone call confirmation an hour earlier. Obviously, there was no good communication btw staff. 3. The bath tub was broken at the bottom and covered with wide tape and a piece of plastic mat. Had to be careful when taking a shower. 4. Carpet was dusty and not vacuumed everyday. However, the buffet breakfast was good.

“Do not stay on the 1st floor”

The actual hotel and location were actually pretty good. My room though was the worst room I have ever stayed. The window was looking out to a wall!!! I could only see the sky when I got my head out and looked up. Also there is a club on the ground floor that plays music very loudly untill 3 o'clock in the morning. I went and bought some ear plugs for the rest of my stay. The breakfast was pretty good. But please note the hotel is pretty much catering for Pakistani or Indian guests, so the food is designed for them. Staff were pretty helpful and room service was good.

“Ok”

We had booked a king bed but got 2 single beds instead and they couldnt change it - not so good when your on your honeymoon. Ok for a cheap hotel. Not much within walking distance

“I don't recommend”

Location is very good, near the Creek,the Bus Station and Burjuman Shopping but it is only. Staff not interested in help us to go to the main spots. Breakfest with local food mainly. I have to pay too high for dial-up internet access from the room. A problem with the flush in the toilett.

“You get what you pay for”

I'll be honest. You get what you pay for compared to the other hotels in the area. This is the ghetto version of the hotels. The online ad stated wireless internet. Only partialy true as of any organization like this ran by the Hindi slum lords like back in the States on the East Coast. You cannot get wireless internet above the ground floor and they charge an exorbant amount for this service while other hotels in the are are free of charge. Also, a no refund policy because it is not thier fault if it does not work. Bathroom still had hair on floor and in tub from previous guest. Shower curtian had moldy and reeked from stagnant water. Room doors are traditional keys, very well used, and not very secure. Noticed markes from forced entry. Patrons of African Club next door get pretty crazy after closing and hang around from of hotel. Not family or female friendly hotel if you are a foreinger.

“It was a dump.”

This hotel was a dump. Not clean, no daily service, and the buffet breakfast was poor.Pancakes-no syrup, toaster didn't work and some of the food was not cooked. Room service was non-existent 1/2 wait for them to answer the phone, the front desk was not helpful. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Overrated hotel.”

This hotel is situated on one of the busiest streets in Bur Dubai and the hotel is close to a busy bus stop. The hotel has a night-club which goes on to 3am and is very noisy with a bass beat that can be heard through-out the hotel. It is well specified albeit now slighty dated but that is all that this hotel has to offer. It was more expensive that other apartment hotels close by.

“Disappointed”

Very basic! But very gracious service! I booked for double beds and got singles. Breakfast was appalling, not at all the 'continental breakfast' that was promised. Good for people who will spend no time in the hotel. Closer to a hostel than a hotel....
