“Affordable, Clean, & Centrally- located”
The rates were affordable, and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is in walking distance to shops and to public transportation (buses, boats), and airport shuttle was provided.
“Nice residence hotel”
My room at the Meridien Banyas Residence was spotlessly clean with new fixtures and furniture. For a very reasonable price, I had a kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee pot, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's smack in the middle of the downtown business district, but was quiet. The only drawback is the lack of restaurant or lobby, but with a grocery store around the corner, it's not hard to manage. Most of the hot food in the neighborhood seems to be fast food. Very nice experience!
“Great hotel”
This was a great hotel. Extremly clean and well located. I will stay here again.
“Excellent, not recommended for light sleepers”
Excellent customer sevice, definetely superior service. Business district, trafic noise unevitable, Will definetly go back to this hotel
“Great value for money”
Location is a bit chaotic with the Metro contruction work, taxis are difficult to find but the hotel apartment is unbeatable in terms of value for money and the friendliness of the staff. If you want real, traditional Dubai this is the place to be. If you want glossy, Westernised, beach holiday Dubai then go Jumeirah way but be prepared to pay several times over.
“what a beautiful holiday”
this hotel was really nice it was stiuated in a very good place to we had a mall next to us about 10 mins walk and we had a bigger one in the city centre which was a 15min drive. we were also not to far from from sighseeing places and it was cheap in taxis when compared to the english pound. Lots of resturants near the hotel as wel. i loved it there and would definately stay there again. it budget but nice is what you are looking forward then this would be your ideal place its worth the price really nice.
“Good hotel location, nice rooms”
This is quite a comfortable hotel, and good value for the price. The Meridien whose facilities one can use is not very near and I did not thus use them. There is no breakfast available. Staff are friendly but with limited knowledge of the area. Taxis do not know the hotel or its location, and there is no big sign, so mention that it is near the Landmark hotel next to Flora hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is central in the busy part of Dubai's older section, but rooms are quiet.
“Great affordable hotel in a decent location.”
Great little hotel, hidden slightly off Baniyas Square. Room is like what you would expect from a premier travel lodge but with an additional kitchen (so very clean and modern). Hotel staff are friendly and helpfull.
“Great value, recommend it”
staff were friendly and helpful. great value- basic, clean and roomy 1br apartment. ideally located- walking distance to Abra (ferry) stop and a many Souks. good supermarket across Baniyas Square for eating in and reasonably priced meals at local restaurants. daily transport provided to use facilities at Le Meridien resort (we didn't). recommend it.
“nice residence”
we had nice holidays, the residence was good but the air conditionning was too high 17 degrees every where so I was freezing every night!
