“A real gem of a hotel, where you are made so very welcome.”

I am very happy to have found this hotel where the staff are very professional, courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was great to have the kitchen area with large fridge to use if not wanting to eat out all the time. The free WiFi is a great bonus. Bed were comfortable. Although there was no amazing view as such it was still good to have the balcony to spend time on. The buffet breakfast had so much choice, fruits, yoghurt, cereal, toast, cheese and then a selection of hot foods too. I liked the way that the Indian staff included one or two Indian type dishes - so that you could try something of their culture but it was not overwhelming and forced upon you. The area was great for me being able to walk to a number of supermarkets, and a mall which was not one the enormous buildings, and very tastefully set out with lots of plants and water and many cafes and eateries. The metro was under 10 mins walk and The Creek not far away I think overall the staff made it for me as they were so friendly and seemed very happy in their work.

As a hotel it was quite good. It has everything it needed. I was a little disappointed with the area though.

“SAVOY PARK STAY”

Good hotel for the price and comfort except for stinginess in the shower. Away from city center and may not be suitable if you want to be near restaurants and nite life. Very courteous and friendly staff. I could never get used to getting hot water in the shower following their instructions of turning the heater on 20 minutes before the shower. Using the shower with drastically reduced water flow and non existant hot water control made the showers in the morning less than desirable. It seems the management in order to cut costs is neglecting the guest comfort when it comes to room supplies and toilteries. They need to re-evaluate their approach so the guests do not have to call the front desk for items that should be there in the first place. We would not mind staying there again with some corrections in the above mentioned areas.
